Lotus COO Aslam Farikullah confirmed for Snows Lotus Hedge End opening

Lotus boss Aslam Farikullah will be making an appearance at the opening of the newest addition to the Lotus dealership network. Lotus Hedge End, part of the sizable Snows Group will be holding a VIP open event starting this Friday through to Sunday (17th to 19th May), details of which can be found here. Aslam Farikullah will be attending the event on Saturday the 18th at midday. It's a great family day out and a chance to get your car out on track in a safe environment with other owners in a Lotus-only environment. Gregory Rasse proved to be too quick for Jon Walker in the battle of the V6 drivers as Lotus Cup Europe headed to Dijon-Prenois. The Englishman's Exige was the class of the field in qualifying but when it came to the races, his Belgian rival was able to keep up the pressure in the Evora, taking the lead on both occasions. Xavier Georges headed the chase in his four-cylinder 2-Eleven but despite an impressive performance in qualifying, was unable to stay with the leaders. Lotus F1 Team is pleased to announce the promotion of Nick Chester to the position of Technical Director. Nick will replace the departing James Allison, who will leave Enstone after working with the team most recently since 2005 and previously from 1991-1992 and 1994-1999. Nick has worked at Enstone since 2000, most recently as Engineering Director, and previously as Head of Performance Systems, Head of Vehicle Performance Group and Race Engineer. Lotus Praga LMP2 finished the 6 Hours of Spa with two cars at its second race with the new Lotus Praga T128 LMP2. #32 Position 7 (LMP2) Thomas Holzer (GER) – Dominik Kraihamer (AUT) – Jan Charouz (CZE) #31 Position 8 (LMP2) Kevin Weeda (USA) – Vitantonio Liuzzi (ITA) – James Rossiter (GBR) Thomas Holzer, Dominik Kraihamer and Jan Charouz in car #32 ended up in seventh position in LMP2 class. Lotus Praga LMP2 is heading for Belgium for the second race of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship this weekend. The venue for the 6 Hours of Spa is the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps located in the Belgian Ardennes.
