TLF attended the 2012 Autosport International show at the NEC to see what Lotus has by way of updates for the upcoming motorsport season. Companies from around the world are showcasing some of the latest technology from the motorsport sector at the show which is pretty large and worth a visit to get up close with the cars and technology you see on track throughout the year. Goodwood FoS 2012: Lotus take centre stage

Lotus have been chosen to be the marque of honour at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. While visiting Hethel to do some filming for our Esprit S1 documentary, Tony K and I, along with Gordon Masson, attended the opening of Lotus’s first LOTUS ORIGINALS retail shop, which also serves as a model for future dealership interiors with the ribbon-cutting by Dany Bahar and Bruno Senna. 2012 Exige S hits the streets on a whirlwind UK tour

Dany Bahar renews contract at Group Lotus

Announced by Proton's Syed Zainal at the Lotus internal staff Christmas Party last week, Lotus CEO Dany Bahar has renewed his contract at the company for a further 4 years. His current contract was up for renegotiation in 2012 however during meetings with Proton in Hethel last week the new deal was reached. Autocar reports: “The Proton dedication to our plans has always been solid, and the decision to extend my contract a year early is a signal of that commitment,” said Bahar.
