Lotus's longest established dealership, Bell & Colvill opened the doors of their showroom for 2 days recently to allow potential customers the chance to get close to the MY12 Evora in both manual and IPS variants and try for themselves the updated and improved car. Lotus team up with Mansory for bespoke customisations

The German specialist in craftsmanship on luxury vehicles has already worked with Lotus on a range of special editions, and will offer Lotus enthusiasts the ultimate tailoring service. At the Paris Motor Show in September this year, Lotus will unveil an exciting new model variant in collaboration with Mansory. Wednesday the 14th March is a day when Goodwood hosts a smaller and more intimate event, a combination of a mini Festival of Speed and Revival to give the media a glimpse of what to expect at this year's events. 2012 is a special year for Lotus as they are the main sponsor of the Festival of Speed and as such will be designing the sculpture which forms the centerpiece of the event on the lawn in front of Goodwood House. Lotus were again occupying a decent amount of floorspace at this year's Salon De L'Automobile at Geneva's Palexpo, similar in size and location to the 2011 stand. With a total of 9 cars on display to the press on the 6th March there were 2 new variations of existing products, namely the carbon fibre bodied Lotus F1 Edition Evora GTE, limited to a run of 5 cars and the MY2012 Exige S Roadster, a soft-top and more 'lifestyle' edition of the hardcore 3.5l V6 Exige. Lotus Racing set for tarmac & grass roots

Rallying The Lotus International Rally team is set to make its race debut in April in the FIA European Rally Championship. In partnership with Italian team United Business, who won the title last year, the hotly anticipated Exige R-GT will be painted in Lotus’ iconic black and gold colour scheme.
