Question is simple. I orignally thought it was bank 1 left and bank 2 right but a lotus technician said that it's the other way round? So can someone please tell me as a friend has O2 sensor problems but I don't know which side the diagnostic is telling me is a faulty sensor.
Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Dave Walters

Bank 1 - RHS looking from the back to the front of the car
Bank 2 - LHS " "

YES - Bank 1 is actually UK's driver side, and US's passenger side...Bank 2 is UK's passenger & US's driver side...weird...

I've always said that 10 out of 9 UK drivers were dyslexic---I mean, look which side of the road the fools drive on!

[Pedant mode on]

Strictly speaking if it is related to numbers then it is dyscalculia not dyslexia

With all this talk about "banks", Kylie, I guess I thought I was still IN the General section. Can I come out from behind the couch now? I promise to be nice, really I will. :welcome:

Thanks for clearing that one up. I shouldn't have doubted my source in the first place!
