Ok, back end if the introduction forum and noticed two people have committed to an evora plate already, just being nosey and wondered who else has gone the whole hog :P

More to the point do their 'significant others' known this yet? :)

Oh pants, noticed my signature smillies don't work - new to this, any idea?

Guilty as charged with E9ORA number plate.

I have told the "significant other" about the car @ £45K but seem to have forgot to mention the cost of the options or the number plate......

I was going to ask the same question!

It's one of those love'em or hate'em things. Some look great but others can look really contrived; if you have to explain it, it doesn't work in my book.

I've got three - one name-related that I've had for years and a couple Lotus/Evora related that I got recently. I'm also still on the look out for nice ones if anything comes up and will decide nearer delivery date which one to use. I've agreed a plate budget with SA but seem to have misunderstood - that is a budget per plate isn't it? :P

I'm particularly gutted that I ordered and paid for a great plate, only to find out a week later from the dealer that they had actually sold it to someone else the day before I paid but hadn't updated their system :( - so if you're the new owner of V6 LOT, for 8 days I thought that was my plate and would still be interested in it :)

E17ORA didn't sell on ebay last night for the target £20k and is still available if anyone is interested ..... (I've no connection with the sale of this one)

What do other people think about personal plates - nice or naff?

E17 ORA at £20k? Not surprised it didn't sell. £2k and someone might be tempted, but it's just not a 'good' enough plate to command a higher price than that.

This one is still for sale, I believe. http://www.evoraforu...tyle_emoticons/default/cool.gif

Gav, my plate is a bit of a gag now. I bought it as I wanted a 'Lotus' plate and it's all I found in a couple of years of sniffing about but a few people commented it said 'Bibtus' rather than Lotus, hence my nickname of Bibs!

LOL - funny plate Bibs! On that basis my nickname should be "jzgajuf" and I'd then have the ultimate plate :)

EV05 ORA, EV08 ORA would be my suggestions at £999 from DVLA. They have obviosly hiked the pices on these due to the EVO content and not necessarily the EVORA.

What about FA52 TON = Fast to TON only £250 looks a good punt for a novel plate.

I am considering putting my main plate 81NGO on the Esprit. BINGO is my nickname from school and BINGO is the business I am now in, hence BINGOKING.

HELP I am trying to edit my signature but have no control over the formatting and can't add an image!!

There are still quite a few EV02A xx number plates for £250. Most of the obvious "xx" combinations have gone such as SC and SR for the future models but some of the EV02A Sx plates look good value if you are thinking of upgrading to an Evora S when it is released.

&*%*!!!! - just seen V6 LOT readvertised. Clearly been bought by a dealer or speculator, as they're asking £10,790 for it! Needless to say, this is massively more than I just missed getting it for. I wasn't interested in turning a big profit but in having a great plate - this is way out of reach now :(

OK I've gone and done it I decided to go with something representing the name "Evora", the number of cylinders and the final use of the spare letter I thought well it's likely they'll do an S version so my chosen plate is...

Good / clever choice. Assuming that was the standard price from the DVLA its a bit of a bargin.
