Need a wheel!!
Posted 27 January 2006 - 09:45 AM
Thought I'd ask you guys and see if any of you had a spare(straight) front wheel hanging around.
Previous owner of mine clouted a kerb hard and bent the rim ARSE!!
Going to be getting all the others refurbed but there seems to be very few people who want to take on a bent wheel.
I've found one or two specialists who say it can be safely done, just wantred to check here first!
Cheers in advance

Cheers for that, I had seen that one but unfortunately its not an S3 BBS rim, similar but not the same.
Looks like that one is supposed to have a screw on centre cap.
Bit miffed that its being wrongly described cause I did get my hopes up

As far as used stuff goes, dont go buying any more bent ones!, either inspect VERY carefully or get money back guarantee (ebay lot)

We often have motorcycle rims repaired, and we have never had a problem afterwards. Have it fixed and don't even think of it again. A reputable shop will do a back-to-new job.
