Think I'd sell the Esprit for one...
I'd grow a mustache and everything, I'm not kidding.
A wardrobe full of red shirts, I can see it now....

Aston V8 Vantage, I like the car but the closer I looked and the more people I spoke to the less I liked it, let's just say AM have done a much better job of keeping the lid on their foibles than Lotus!!! The owners are a really friendly, helpful bunch but there's something 'aspirational' about Aston as a brand that I just don't aspire too, plus I like my cars a little more on the raw side!
Ferrari 355, same again it's image, this time it's a heady mixture of 'Can't afford a more recent one' coupled with midlife crisis which really makes me think it's not for me. Definitely more my sort of car than the Aston though. I'm still checking PH to see what's about though, even 308's although I don't feel the same way about them as they have more of a classic status about them. However.... I don't want the grief of running a classic.
Maserati, actually I really like Maserati's and if there was a dealer/specialist closer to me I'd buy one.... let's face its I'm going to be on first name terms with the garage owner so he might as well be local!
Lamborghini Gallardo, I'd want a Bat Cave type garage to keep it in so-one knows it's me that actually owns it! It's the kind of car I'd have drooled over 20 years ago when there was zero chance of me ever buying one, now I realise the full effect of being seen as the oldest swinger in town... with a season ticket to Spearmint Rhino in my wallet.
All this makes me wonder just how far from the Lotus I know and lurve the DB dog and Pony show will stray...

Always wanted an XJS, nearly bought one 15 years ago just before i bought my first Esprit. Incredibly, the XJS was longer than my garage!

They are so cheap now i could get one anytime and drive it until it dies, which many of them will, but when a car with a 5.3 litre V12 costs £1000 it is never going to get fixed when the engine pops...
And we'd both love a DS

Truth is, based on what i've just done, i have no idea what i'll be driving in the future. I smoked for ten years and gave up 'snap' just like that, i'd had enough. I had long hair since school, i had not had my hair cut for 16 years and one day i just went out and had it all chopped off, i don't discuss it with Vicki, just do it. Same with the Porsche, everything was Lotus, Lotus, Lotus, i'd seen ten Doningtons, ten Castle Combes, my toy cabinet has Lotus cars in it, and i thought it was ongoing.
Then i realised i'd done all i wanted with Lotus, owned the models i wanted, had no interest in the new models or how the company was going, thought 'F-it!' and i bought Porsche.
I'm willing to bet several of you guys end up buying the cars you are mentioning here, not everybody can have the same over and over again without going off for something daftly different.

Any BMW..

Not even this Z?!...
I'd kill for one.
Kimbers, did Jaguar sell an optional hitch for hauling a hay baler?
