Looks like fun, but they should add a section on how to do some really boss built-in distortion.. :D

I used to have a book way back in the early 90s that had plans for all sorts of effects and stomp-boxes...I remember that Craig Anderton wrote it, and a lot of it looked like fun but I never got around to building any of it due to being on a student budget...but who knows; maybe some of the local musicians in my town might have liked them. I could have founded VegTronics! :hrhr:

Craig Anderton :unworthy:

I had that book and built a kickass preamp for my doubleneck with it. Then I realized a used Armstrong Red Ranger sounded way better and was more flexible. Build your own!

I built an amp for my GCSE technology project many years ago. Managed to blow up the transformer the night before I had to submit it. Still it made a nice hum when you switched it on and I don't think they would have plugged in a guitar to test it.
