Taken directly from the warranty booklet:

"The Evora is intended for use as a road going passenger vehicle. IT IS NOT DESIGNED OR INTENTED FOR USE OFF ROAD, INCLUDING ON CLOSED CIRUIT TRACKS OR FOR USE IN A COMPETITIVE MANNER, INCLUDING TIMED LAPS OR RUNS. ANY SUCH USE WILL INVALIDATE THE NEW VEHICLE WARRANTY."

That said on the maintenance schedule sheet for the Evora item 6 of additional servicing states:
The Lotus Evora is designed as a road going sports car. It is recognised that owners may wish to use the car occassionally on closed circuit tracks to expeirence the car's full range of dynamic capabilities. However, use of the car in a competitive manner, including timed runs or laps, is not endorsed by lotus. This type of timed, cometitive use will invalidate warranty and require approproate levels of expert vechicle preparation and servicing.

So, there you go. Clear as mud!!

Edit: If you think that is bizzare my 2-11 warranty would be void if the car was used in competion but was OK for track use if not timed.

I remember the Evora meet at Knockhill, and since we were all doing a parade lap, we asked Lotus' permission to make sure it wouldn't void the entire Scottish Evora warranty!

Would have certainly made MMC a quieter place!

No, but two well-known German companies have joined forces to add a intercooler to the S, plus remap, take out pre-cat, replace main-cat with sport cat, headers and air-filter, the S is expected to be at 420hp. Have already seen the test car they use with housing for the intercooler. Rear visibility will get bad - intercooler below the S/C - but who cares.

Cheers Sven, did wonder where it would be if there was one. Guess adding an intercooler would give a decent gain with a tweek of the map.
