I have a LE evora with the dreaded alpine iva w505:-) in fairness it's not too bad:-)
I'm a big fan of the tomtom nav and there is an iPhone app for this. I was wondering if anyone has used the av input to display the iPhone screen apps and all on the alpine unit?
I'm not sure if it's a composite av input or what. One might be able to even use the alpines touch screen to operate the iPhone menu. The av input i think is currently hooked up with the reversing camera on the tech pack. One could use a splitter two switch between the two av inputs. iPod av cables r cheapily available and one may have to jailbreak the iPhone for it to display on the alpine unit. Apologies as I'm not the most technical of ppl so if it all sounds like a silly idea feel free to shoot me down:-)

Have you tried asking Craig at MMC? He has been my Alpine/iPhone guru and answered all my dumb questions. :unworthy: My level of tech seems on par with yours! He loves the challenges I give him! However this is maybe a step to far but no harm in asking......

I threw out the Alpine and replaced it with the Sony XNV-66LBT, which includes a TomTom Navigation system.
