Sad! Smaller car companies seem to be falling like dominoes at the moment!

Great time for Tony Fernandes to step in.

I thought, with the association between Caterham and Lola on the SP/300R that Tony would have bought Lola a year or two back when they were reported to have been seeking an investor. I also thought he may return the name to F1 when it all went wrong with Lotus as it is a more recognisable brand (to older followers) in that Formula than Caterham.

The brand deserves to be saved.

If only Lotus had the money to buy them then the LMP car really would be a Lotus.

I hope it never comes to that! I hope Lola finds an investor which in all logic would not be TF! And I hope Lotus stays away from it and focus on more important stuff like producing current cars or developing new cars!
