Hi all, thought it was time I registered rather than just lurking & I was surprised when I discovered I’ve been a member since 2008!

My Lotus ownership started with a sliver Elan that then became a pistachio Elan. I’ve recently just part exchanged my Elise for an Evora (Bibs, you may get a feeling that there’s something familiar about it!! ;) )

Cheers, 'driven with care' (most of the time) during it's first 8000 miles so I read :D

Welcome and I note you have posted on the South Coast Pistonheads, I'm sure you have read that there is a meeting tonight at the Empress of Blandings SO40 2PE if I remember rightly people start to turn up about 7. There is another Evora the same colour turning up tonight as well can you make it?

That's the car I took to Frankfurt and back in a day, incredibly fast and sure footed on the Autobahns. I'm very jealous of you!

Ah, thought I recognised the username when I posted on one of your threads in the Evora section. I also used to own an M100 Elan and remember your pistachio one from an event at Hethel a few years ago, as well as your being on LEC.

I heard that you felt a bit misled by the seller about the history of your Evora. Hope that's all settled now but if not I have some info from my previous enquiry to them about the car that might be of use to you - PM me if you need it.

oooh interesting, I will pm you. However just for clarity (in case the seller is viewing this, I’m pretty sure I’ve not used the word misled, I think that may be a bit of Chinese whispers!!! There was some info about the car I found out via this forum rather than from them which I was a bit disappointed about & was surprised they weren’t aware of. It wasn’t anything major & certainly nothing that put me off buying the car
