Interesting to note that it is expressly stated as a franchise store. I already noticed from my recently received Lotus Originals order that delivery and handling came from Italy. It appears that Lotus Originals is actually an independent business under Lotus license and most probably without Lotus financial engagement (well perhaps a limited engagement).
Would that also apply to the Regent Street store?

Lotus has always been a marque that appealed to real driving enthusiasts - the thought of where DB has been leading the company (and target markets) leaves me cold - as does this launch.
Sorry - had to say it...

You confuse my thoughts on automotive design/excellence (for which I've always considered Lotus to offer exceptional value) with the modern idiom of 'aspirational brands' and overpriced clothing.
All IMHO of course - others' mileage *will* vary!

I Googled and couldn't find an address, the concierge at the Fairmont had no idea, he rang his counterpart at the Hotel de Paris and he's never heard of it either, likewise the good folks at McLaren had never heard of it or the Marussia concession in the hotel. I asked various cab drivers, the occasional waiter and no one knew a thing. I did read it was close to Casino Square, so just round the corner from where we were staying, but I never found it! I would've asked at the Lotus store opposite the harbour but in the 5 days we were there I never saw the place open, although they did have a nice Evora and an add for an Excel priced at €6,500 if anyone's looking.
So... does it exist? If so where is it???

Hard to find even when you know the address but it's really nicely done once you're inside I hear.

What a surprise, I sincerely hope DRB understand the value to the brand the London store gives... but then what do I know, I"m just a customer.
