Never saw it. Good, was it?
All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

I just love the circuit, amazing place. Good result, championship a little closer... Kimi 1 point behind LH.

Pretty good run of results for McLaren having won the last 3 races pretty comprehensively. From the comfort of my bed, Raikonnen's race looked pretty ho-hum.
Liked the way that Alonso played the crowd after the race but the race wasn't that exciting.

I love it when God Save the Queen is played in Ferrari Land.
Damn near got to hear the Mexican national anthem. Go Checo! Show them Scuderia dudes what an off-the-shelf Ferrari lump can do against the factory team's best effort. Har har.
Yes, Kimi drove a fairly conservative race, but he's now number three in the standings, albeit tightly sandwiched between Hammy and Vettel. Speaking of Vettel, what's up with the Red Bull reliability issues? Both dnf's for separate problems, although Weber's "flat spotted" tyre was likely self induced. Can a single "no contact" spin really end a race that easily? Guess his tread was down to the nub already at that point in the race.
The Speed Channel had a brief pre race interview with none other than our fearless Texas governor Rick Perry. And while there's no love lost between the man and moi, he did give a good account of himself as he shilled for the Circuit of the Americas upcoming venue in Austin. Credit where credit is due. And who am I to criticize the occasional Italian boondoggle when it's for a good cause?

John, he was also interviewed on the grid by Martin Brundle of Sky Sports F1. Came across well and enthusiastic.
