In Topic: LEF Jokes & Gags thread

new support site, Conjunctivitis.com - thats a site for sore eyes

I went to the butchers the other day and the butcher said 'I bet you £5 you can't guess the weight of that meat on the top shelf'. ' I'm not gambling!' I said, 'The steaks are too high!!!!!'

"So I was in my car, and I was driving along, and my boss rang up, and he said 'You've been promoted.' And I swerved. And then he rang up a second time and said "You've been promoted again.' And I swerved again. He rang up a third time and said 'You're managing director.' And I went into a tree. And a policeman came up and said 'What happened to you?' And I said 'I careered off the road.

Thanks for the reply; I saw that one the other day. It has a lot going for it as I have all of the bits to bolt onto it.

However I think it’s a fallback position that I would use if I’m in a jam (I don’t mind spending the money but it’s almost as much as I spent on my car).  plus I worried about clips and brackets and other little bits that could whined up costing a bomb. For example I enquired about the cost of new engine mountings, the sales man proudly told me £240 for the full set – fortunately I only needed £40 quid’s worth of nuts bolts and washers (9 separate line items arrived is a very small jiffy bag). I may just be being paranoid, but certain things grate me a little!!

Another benefit of a 2nd car is that I could see it all connected in position (maybe working – to a fashion) and then move it across.
It’s most likely a amateur question but replacing the 910s engine with a 920 engine, what difference does that make to ecu’s and the setup as a whole? Are they fairly interchangeable?

In Topic: Rad removal tips please

Thanks guys, pretty sure the rad hasn’t been out before so I’m expecting the worst, as for being lucky- well I stopped being lucky when I hit puberty!

In Topic: I had no choice but to buy it...it looked so sad!

Sorry about the quality..its from my camera phone...someone has stolen my camera!

It was taken out...mice got into the car but only caused minor damage to the seats, cost £50 to sort that (my first esprit bargain!).

Only a few scuffs on it amazing really for a 18 year old car.   On a side note I really need to tidy my spare room.

Rob.
