Shelby dies

12 May 2012 - 06:42 AM

Sad day for petrolheads, Carroll Shelby dies aged 89. He was responsible for the success of the GT40, AC Cobra and of course the Shelby Mustang GT350, plus countless other cars, including the Dodge Viper.
RIP Carroll.

Red V8 at Heritage Museum

31 March 2012 - 06:07 PM

Spotted this red V8 at the Heritage Museum.  Spoke to the Owner who had just bought the car today and got him to join the forum.  I'm sure I've seen this car before.

Mansory

26 March 2012 - 08:27 PM

So Mansory is the offical Official Customisation Studio for Lotus.  Not sure how I feel about this.  Mansory have produced some real stinkers in the past, like the Rolls Royce Conquistador and the Bentley Vitesse Rose.  I didn't mind the Prototype Evora GTE, just hope they're going to keep it relatively subtle.
Does anyone know why Lotus signed up to this?  Is it a PR stunt?

I used one of my old Squiers.  Here's a short vid:
