My GT3 is back together now, and the S4 is waiting for the new module to enable me to finish a few other bits and pieces.
Yeah, naughty of me. Although they're discrete items, they're essentially one unit. Coil packs are the dumb part as far as I'm concerned and should be fine. The problem is at closed loop - the module doesn't seem to be communicating with the ECU, so spark timing goes out of the window. If it was coil packs the effect would be very different.
