The Germans were happy to bankroll the countries in the Euro zone as they were a captive market to sell their manufactured goods BMWs Siemens appliances etc.

With the 'money' they received they could then lend to the poorer counties to enable them to buy more goods and so on

Much in the same way as the Chinese are currently trading with the rest of the world.

The very same valuable engine i.e. the 180 bhp 912 HC engine

Although mine runs every day, who knows how long this one has been sitting idle with all the seals stiffening and (lack of) coolant quietly corroding its insides?

Seriously though there is now an advert on the lotus for sale part of the forum.

Susie's TE is now back running and I can't justify having four cars (and no space on the drive !)
