About Me

I am a 69 year old retired company director with twin sons aged 47 one of whom owns an Esprit V8SE . I have time on my hands to follow the forums because I am largely confined to the house with Parkinson's disease. However, I have always enjoyed cars, having had several Jaguars and Range Rovers over the years.

In the 70's and 80's I ran an engineering company in Thetford making hydraulic platforms, but in our early days we did work for Lotus making trolley jigs for bodies in the paintshop, engine assembly jigs and fascias for the Elan[?]. I have always admired Lotus's ability to survive and keep innovative despite lack of funds. Mike Kimberley is responsible for much of this success.
