The place, London’s Regent St – The time, sometime back in 2004! A group of Lotus enthusiasts spent the early part of a spring morning at a Pistonheads meet in Virginia Water and decided once done there that the best way to cause chaos on the roads of London was to take 15 Lotus Esprit’s and get pictures of them in as many places in the West End as possible!
Cue photo calls on The Mall, Horse Guards, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square and this one at the southern end of Regents St while trying to figure out where to go next. Then Esprit owner Dave McKenna was never too far from his ‘Lotus Parking Only’ sign and we took over the road, albeit briefly.
Enjoy April with some fools trying hard not to get moved on (again) by the Police!
