Elite is the most advanced fabric, offering the aesthetic fit and stretch of an indoor cover and the 100% waterproof protection and superb breathability of an outdoor cover. This triple layer fabric contains a special elastic membrane that allows the cover to ‘breathe’ while completely shielding your car from the elements, preventing the formation of mould and rust. The Elite fabric has been treated with a substantial Teflon® coat and UV stabilisers to enhance its performance; the fabric also has a soft, fleecy inner.

Like all our car covers, Elite is tailored to fit your individual make and model. Available in black or grey, the top panel, side panel and wing mirror pocket colours are interchangable. Personalise your cover with contrast stitching and Lotus logos.

Like all our covers outdoor fabrics, the Elite is 100% waterproof and breathable. Many car cover manufacturers claim that their products are 100% waterproof, in reality however they are only water resistant. 
 
Breathable

The fabrics have been developed to incorporate the latest protective technology. Our Elite car covers are both 100% waterproof and breathable, this allows any trapped moisture to permeate through the cover, preventing the formation of mould and reducing the risk of rusting or corrosion. 

UV Protected Fabric

Outdoor fabrics have been treated with UV inhibitors to help repel harmful UV rays, preserving the performance quality of the cover. Although this treatment helps maintain the covers appearance and prevents early discolouration, like anything that is left exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time, eventually some discolouration will inevitably occur. During extended sunny spells we advise that the cover is removed until needed. We also suggest choosing the Grey colour option if the cover is to be used in sunnier climes. Any fading of colour will not affect the covers performance.

Scratch Prevention

There is nothing more alarming than finding a nick in the paintwork of your pride and joy. A tailored cover provides your car with a second skin, so an accidental scrape from a passing toolbox doesn’t have to mean a trip to the body shop.

Dust Shield

A tailored cover guards your pride and joy from dust and other debris whilst maintaining the aesthetic lines of your car. Our tailored covers preclude moisture from freezing on the surface of your car in sub-zero temperatures, so you can be safe in the knowledge that your windscreen will be as clear as you left it.

Tree Sap Resistant

Tree sap can be very difficult to remove once dry and attempting to remove hardened tree sap can result in unwanted damage to bodywork. Our tailored cover provides a second skin for your car that will not allow tree sap to penetrate through to your car’s bodywork.

Shield from Bird Droppings

Bird droppings can be hard to remove and the acidity of the droppings can corrode bodywork and ultimately tarnish you car’s appearance. A tailored cover will prevent bird droppings from making contact with your car’s bodywork, sustaining its appearance and making the task of cleaning less arduous. The cover can be cleaned using mild surfactants.
 
Easy Fasten Straps

Our covers are anchored to the car by high strength webbing straps and buckles. The female buckles are sewn into pockets on one side of the cover, while the male buckles are attached to straps that run under the car. Each strap should be pulled tight for extra security.

Please allow 2-4 weeks for your cover to be made & shipped to you (a little longer if outside the UK). If your Lotus model is not listed here please contact us so we can add it to our list.

We recommend that the covers are washed annually as they collect dust (that's what they're designed to do!), they can be washed in a normal washing machine on the coolest cycle available, no hotter than 40 degrees and drip dried. Washing instructions will be included.
