The QuickSilver team has designed the new stainless steel Lotus Elise 111R and Exige 2 manifold with a 200 cell Hi-low Sports catalytic converter for the maximum effciency whilst still remaining emission-compliant.

The unit reduces weight, improves performance and creates a level of sound that is appropriate to the Lotus name.

This ‘Sports’ system allows the speed and volume of the exhaust gas flow to be increased, producing a noticeable improvement in throttle response and ‘o-cam’ torque.

The manifold has mandrel bent pipe work with four equal length primaries, 4-2-1 for a wider spread of power. The Sports catalytic converter is held in position by springs. This allows for movement and improved durability over the original factory exi-braided pipe system. The system is a Bolt-On requiring no engine retuning and is made from type 304 austenitic stainless steel. All lambda bosses are tted. The driver will enjoy a higher pitched, crisper exhaust note with more volume as revs increase.
