Lotus F1 Team is pleased to announce its driver line-up for the forthcoming Mugello test on May 1-3,where the team’s third driver Jérôme D’Ambrosio will get his first taste of the podium-finishing E20. 2012 Chinese Grand Prix - Sunday

Romain Grosjean benefitted from an aggressive tyre strategy whilst Kimi Räikkönen ultimately lost out in a fast-paced and exciting Chinese Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit. Romain went from tenth on the grid to finish in sixth, whilst Kimi ran strongly in second place until his tyres could no longer deliver sufficient performance, finally finishing in 14th. 2012 Formula One Jerez Test Day Four

Lotus F1 Team will not run for the remainder of the second test at Barcelona, scheduled from today until Friday. During initial runs this morning with Romain Grosjean at the wheel, the team identified an issue with the chassis. After investigation at Enstone, initial plans to bring out chassis E20-01 to Barcelona have been held in order to give the team enough time to rectify the situation. Lotus F1 Team has stopped running early in the first day of testing at Barcelona and will not run for the rest of the day. Romain Grosjean, Lotus F1 Team Race Driver: “We completed a few aero runs and then started timed runs, but I was very quickly aware that the car wasn’t responding as it should. It’s not ideal to lose track time, but fortunately we will have the chassis which ran perfectly in Jerez so I should get some good track time tomorrow. LRGP concluded a trying 2011 season with an additional point to the season tally thanks to a measured and composed drive from Vitaly Petrov as rain threatened but never arrived at Interlagos.
