Lotus F1 – Back in front testing on day 1 in Barcelona

Lotus F1 Team returned to the track today for the first of four days testing at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona, Spain. Romain Grosjean took the wheel of the modified E20 completing 73 laps and setting the fastest time of the day. Technical Director James Allison reflects on an intense week for the team, and looks ahead to the upcoming test in Barcelona JAMES, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE E20 IN BARCELONA LAST WEEK? We arrived in Barcelona with a brand new chassis, the E20-02. We completed installation laps on Tuesday morning then Romain left the pits for his first run of the day. Lotus F1 head home from Barcelona testing

2012 Formula One Jerez Test Day Four

Lotus F1 Team will not run for the remainder of the second test at Barcelona, scheduled from today until Friday. During initial runs this morning with Romain Grosjean at the wheel, the team identified an issue with the chassis. After investigation at Enstone, initial plans to bring out chassis E20-01 to Barcelona have been held in order to give the team enough time to rectify the situation.
