Hey - wondering if anyone has put Louvres / air vents on their Elise series 3 front clam like the Elise cup 260 similar to exige/Evora gt430 ? i have seen the following options: 1. Komotec - for exige - not sure they fit Elise but advantage they don’t need fibreglassing in https://www.komo-tec.com/en/lotus-exige/mk3-toyota-v6350380/exterieur/789/upper-carbon-wheel-arch-vents-kt-track?c=577 2. Greg’s race parts - bit rough / tacky looking for me https://www.gregsraceparts.com/collections/aero-exterior/products/reverie-carbon-fibre-front-wheel-arch-louvre-vents-for-lotus-elise-exige-s2-exige-v6-pair-1 3. seriouslylotus - the best looking but …

Afternoon all, I'm fairly new into lotus ownership so please excuse me if this topic has been mentioned before. I went for a drive today with outside temps being fairly hot and humid, I noticed the air con at the start of the drive being quite powerful on setting 3 nice and cool. On the motorway I noticed the air con and the fan setting on 3 just went completely low. Is this a common problem with exiges? I've covered 370miles.

Good evening all, I noticed I seem to be missing the stickers "430 CUP" on the rear sides. Does anyone in the UK know where I can order these from?

Hi first time poster here. Having recently purchased my 2004 111s, I wanted to do something about what I consider the ugly reflectors on the rear. I found some very cheap halo fog lights on eBay and with some red lens spray, smoked black plastic and some adaptation and experimentation, I managed to make something that really compliments the GRP V3 lights. All fitted for less than £25

Hi Guys, I'm importing my exige S3 to France and need to adjust front lights. Any idea how this can be done without replacing the full headlamp? Cost to do is insane. Thank you for your help

Hi all, This is regarding my S3 Exige but figured the Elise sub-forum is more appropriate. I've recently received my soft top and have tried to fit it, so far without making any adjustments to tensioning cables. I can pull the side rails into place but as per the title, the LH rear and RH front latches will not click into place, even only doing one side at a time (i.e. without tension) as well as with tension. The opposing latches are absolutely fine. I'm not aware of nor did I notice any adjustability with the latch nor anything pertaining to this in the service manual. Does anybody have any ideas or has run into this before? Thanks!

Hey guys, Does anyone have this in their Elise? My previous sport 220 didn’t have this and from pictures of other Elise’s steering columns, I can’t see any foam that leads into the bulkhead. Anyone have an idea of why it’s there or any negative effects that ripping it out might cause? FullSizeRender.MOV

Hi, Does anyone know if there is a cheaper replacement option for the rubber seal/trim that fits around the headlight between the light unit and the body of the car? It is for a K series S2 Elise and I need both left and right. Over £100 seems a little pricey for two pieces for rubber trim. Many thanks for any help

As per title, I need to fit an immobiliser bypass to my rover elise ecu. Trouble is the diagram issued with the bypass is literally a picture. To make things worse there is a mess of wires all around the ecu and two potential immobiliser components. The ecu isn't even mounted in the Same way as in the image. It's still at the rear of the engine on the nearside but it's mounted on the bulkhead behind the engine with another component mounted on the adjacent bulkhead to the left of the engine. And the second potential immobiliser unit is fitted directly below the ecu. I dot usually like to get involved with electronics and alarms and such but in this case I have to. I ca…

Hi, My AC is not working in my Elise 2012 I've check the fuses F7, F19 and C4 - All OK. I've shorted the Brown/White (the live feed checked at 12v) contact to the Red contact on the AC/Fan Relay module and the compressor does not start or click. Would this mean the compressor is faulty or could there be a different fault? Regards John

Hi all, Noticed my left front indicator was not working correctly, very brief flashing only, then noticed the daytime running lights on same side also not working at all. I had some water ingress which I assume when I forgot to place rubber cap back over dipped bulb cover +/- my headlight seal was failing during this pissy Scottish winter Steps to remove for anyone interested - 1. removed wheel and wheel liner, the plastic bolts are rubbish so will likely need prised out and replaced, do the forward facing section first and pull downwards as metal tab here slots behind the larger rear portion. 2. Disconnect headlight assembly connector(careful with the…

My 2011 S3 Elise is fitted with the original Alpine CDE-111RM CD radio head unit. This had a redundant factory fitted aux lead for connection to an early Iphone or iPod. I searched to see if a different led with a lightning connector was available, but Ifound on Amazon an amazing Bluetooth receiver that is a straight plug in replacement for this lead! I’ve plugged this into the back of the head unit, connected up the + and - to the power. Result: I now have Bluetooth audio without having to replace the head unit. Result!!

With the ignition switched on, only one DRL lights up. When the sidelights are switched on, both lights come on (with the correct lowered brightness). Has anyone got any idea what the fault could be? I cant find a wiring diagram for this model, so any help would be appreciated please?

Hi people, just wanting to gauge interest - I currently make and sell replacement mudguard brackets for the Evora. Recently I was sent a very rusty rear diffuser bracket from an exige (see pic) and I'm working on a marine grade stainless steel version which should last the lifetime of the car. We're folding up a prototype today -i'll post a pic later. Part number is B122B0133F/B122B0132F -think these fit the Elise and Exige series 2 (perhaps someone could confirm?)

Daft question, does anyone know what the fixings for the front number plate plinth on a post 17.5 plate Elise 220 screw into. Had an slight mishap with a speed bump and have cracked the black plastic which needs to be replaced. Happy to get out a screwdriver but bit worried that a washer or something falls out inside the clam when I undo it. In case it’s not obvious I’m not very technical……. Planing to ultimately reattach plate with Velcro and slightly higher as it seems to be mounted very low. Thanks in advance. Paul

Hi, I've seen very little on any forum or chat group to do with this issue. (and I've searched! and I know there are a coupe of threads on here) It's not that the light unit failure doesn't happen, it's that it doesn't ever have a resolve, other than the purchase of a very expensive new light. No one I've found on-line, with a failed headlight has a fix. So I'm making a thread to try and find a solution, as I know many would benefit... So far, I've opened my light unit, by heat gun, softening the sealant. What I've found is a plastic light body, light internals, circuit board, wiring and LEDs etc... that look as good as the day they were made. There are no traces…

Never had any leaks when I had the hard-top on. With the soft-top fitted I get some water coming in through the window seal right at the front by the side mirrors. Drove a few hrs in the rain today and the fabric on the door cards around the door release and window switch is soaked through. Looking at the car from the outside it seems the windows don't go right up to the top of the seal when the soft top is on. Could this be the issue? Rob

Hello, I'm attempting to program a new key fob (transmitter). On my spare set of keys there is a tab with two 5 digit numbers. Not clear to me which one is supposed to be the sPecific Identification Number (PIN). The larger one or the smaller one?
