1978 Lotus Eclat 521,no keys or V5 company invoice supplied. Been stored many years, we’ve dismantled ignition to get it turning over, sunroof glass missing (??shown in pics) but aside from that it looks all there, interior is grotty but all there,rolls freely for loading.underside looks pretty good.It’s a restoration project so best to just come to us and have a proper good look before deciding. Hi all I am looking to reduce my stock of excels considerably. Posting here for serious enquiries before posting elsewhere and the general riff raff access. In my current possession I have: - A chassis with suspension parts but no shocks and springs on the rear. It has the diff and driveshafts. - A black early narrow body. This is the iron cross wheel version with no bo net vents. It comes 95% complete with engine, gearbox, diff etc and gratis MOSS on the floor. No carbs or inlet manifold. Looked at this Elite on Thursday. https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2565-28-Jan-2023/797~1-1976-lotus-elite Interior was tidy. Blurb said it had an MX5 motor conversion for the headlamps. There were old dampers and brake shoes in the boot.I The paintwork was not as good as it looks in the photos needing a heavy compounding and polish at least. I would say it was a 20 yard car. It sold for £5000 plus buyer's premium which, I would say, was a decent buy.

I have for sale a getrag 265 gearbox removed from an Eclat 2.2 can come with bellhousing and fork for lotus 9xx engine, cross member support bracket and propshaft. No gear stick or angle drive. This was bought as a spare for my Eclat race car. Just looking to see if there is any interest here before listing it elsewhere. Regards Dan
