My Lotus Evora GT410 Sport journey has started today when visiting my GT410 Sport in Essex Blue today at the detailer, ready for its full clean, ceramic coating and maybe some Xpel PPF over the carbon areas! This will be my first Lotus and I am really looking forward to getting to know the car. Hopefully I have picked a good one after cancelling my Emira order. I couldn't find a 'GT410 Sport Club' thread, so thought I would start one. I know there are some other GT410 Sport owners on the forum and would be interesting reading about your car, any modifications or issues you may have or may come across in the future. Thanks, Phil

Thought it might be helpful to the people reading the forum hunting for one of these awesome cars if we had a thread linking to anything new that has come up for sale, such is the apparent demand for the good ones. Maybe it'll give folks a chance to get in there quicker for cars they might not have otherwise spotted. Saw this one appear yesterday which I like with the yellow roof, but seems highly priced in the market even with the low mileage - http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/lotus/evora/lotus-evora-s-sport-racer-345hp/4738339

Thought I'd start a thread on this as we all love a bit of attention ... I was driving through a Berskhire village last week and stopped outside a school to make a call. As I was waiting for the call to connect I noticed a guy walk out from the pavement on my left, quite close to the front of my car. TBH he looked a bit shifty. He then walked up to my window and sort of hung about in the road. I wound the window down and he said 'Excuse me, can I take a picture of your car please?'. 'Err, ok' I said and sat slightly embarrassed on the phone whilst he took a load of pics. About 30 seconds later 'half' the local school came out and I had about 20 't…

I understand that this has now been published. Has anyone bought a copy yet? https://www.veloce.co.uk/store/Lotus-Evora-p445897315 I was wondering how different it was to his original Evora book. It will obviously be updated but is it essentially a reprint (with a couple of additional chapters) or something more original? The sample pages certainly look very interesting: https://www.veloce.co.uk/warehouse/downloads/sample_pdfs/V5767.pdf

We need a complete and correct buyers guide. All revisions and options through the years, issues out watch out for, recalls etc. It would be great if everyone can put their 2p's worth in and I'd like a few to help write an article on it, especially anyone experienced in writing technical documentation. There's too much incomplete and misinformation about and with our volume of Evora owners and factory contacts we should be able to nail this. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rAdjE8w2Jc5jsvqbU3aA7U7ktkpdklRj8iAys4Bw__o/edit?usp=sharing ^ That's a publicly editable document we can all dip into, along with this topic I think it's the best way to get this t…

Hi all I am very close to pulling the trigger on either a 2011 Lotus Evora S or a 2010 997.2 Carrera. Both cars have enough performance and I’m split which one I prefer in terms of appearance etc. I love the baby supercar look of the Evora but also the classic shape of the 911. Both cars definitely have their pros and cons. However, the thing I’m really tying to establish is which (if any) will be best for someone with 2 small children? I’ve got a 3 and 7 year old and fitting the kids in for the odd Sunday drive or school run is a must for for me and for the wife to sign off on me buying either car. Has anyone got any experience in how these cars directly compa…

Last year I came around a post somewhere in the forum with a full list of the 60 Evora GT 430 spotted around the world with a colour description and country. unfortunately I can’t find it anymore. if anyone can help to locate that list again I would very much appreciate. My Evora GT 430 was also on that list.

After nearly 9 years, I'm part ex'ing the Evora S tomorrow. Is it normal to get emotional. I wouldn't say it's been 9 trouble free years with a new clutch, flywheel and gearbox required but it has been many years of children's gawping faces and the time a chap walked straight past my mates Gallardo to ask me if he could take a photo of the Evora 🤣. It's definitely a good looking car.

Doing a bit of testing with AI so I thought I'd ask Bard and ChatGPT to describe the Evora and see how accurate it was Bard: ChatGPT:

Morning everyone, I just saw the advert on TV about the expansion of the low emissions zone in London, and put my Evora 400's reg into the checker to see what happens.... TFL don't show my car as being ULEZ compliant, so as far as they are concerned I would be liable. Looking at my V5C, it's not got a Euro emissions rating on it, just a CO2 value - but searching suggests that a 400 should be Euro6 compliant. You can register with them to get the details updated: Documents you need for proof All vehicles: A copy of the vehicle's V5C or non-UK equivalent Plus To prove your vehicle meets the ULEZ standards: A letter from the…

Not to be left out... A new thread... possibly and hopefully at least 25 posts long, as I gather there are only 25 N/A sports racers in the UK! And i am lucky enough to own one! So to start off, mine is MY14, Ardent Red with black interior. Time to get a 'certificate of provenance' from Lotus so I have more details! Will be great to hear from the other 24! 😉 Cheers, Pete :>)

Hi All, Can anyone shed on light on this car? https://www.mecum.com/lots/HA0418-340470/2017-lotus-evora-400-cup/ "The only factory made Evora 400 CUP car in the United States" Were there any more built? Looks to be a 400 IPS with a light motorsport prep (remove carpets, stereo, rear glass..) The reason for my asking is I'm curious about if the gearbox map is standard or whether Lotus have a "motorsport" map for the IPS that I could try to get hold of. I really want to raise the gearbox speedlimit back upto >7000rpm. Also the aggressiveness of the rev limiter on the 400 IPS really impedes progress on track when you hit it hard, I can…

Hi all I am actively looking for an Evora and I've been speaking to a few people selling cars and hoping to start doing some viewings over the next few weeks. I've yet to encounter a perfect car, and the couple of owners I've spoken to have pointed out a few jobs that need doing or areas where the car would benefit some attention. As these are quite specialist are there any recommended specialists/dealers that will carry out a pre purchase inspection on any potential car I find? Also most cars I've looked at have come from or been serviced at Bell and Colvill. Would they be able to carry out an inspection and share any info they have on the car as if they suppli…

Is anyone able to provide me with a copy of the service schedule for an Evora 410 Sport? I have a copy of the schedule that came with the car, but for some reason it's all in French. Also anyone know if the 410 Sport has the baffles fitted in the sump, similar to the Exige 410 ect? Thanks Roy

I bought my Evora 410 Sport in April of 2018 (first registration) knowing that it was a 2017 car that Silverstone had specified for Stock and had had it for a while. I've just recently got my certificate of provenance from Andy Graham at Lotus and thought it might be a good idea to start a register of what is quite an exclusive model within the exclusive Evora range with only 25 2017 Model Year UK Evora Sport 410 cars. Total production was 25 cars (excluding 2 GP editions). 20 of the 25 were manual cars. Please feel free to add your cars details below: Car# 19 - C8RKH - Fire Red (Only UK 410 Sport in Fire Red) - mudflaps, aircon, ICE, subwoofer, sound i…

I know too early to say for sure but when I was looking over the U tube collection of reviews of the Emira there were references to Evora drop in prices ? just wonder as currently prices for used Evoras seem to climb will these fall dramatically in coming time ? to me I will keep mine but if I did change my mind and finances I personally go for Evora newer model over the Emira but I could change my mind ?

While watching Harry’s garage visiting Gordon Murray’s new release, the T33 spyder, it was good to hear Mr Murray’s admiration for the Lotus Evora. Twice he mentioned and referred to the Evora with the development of his cars, that’s some recognition! Strange but he also went on to say he thought the Evora was the best handling car until he drove the Alpine 110, I’ve drove one before committing to an Evora and wasn’t that impressed but what do I know, I love my old Defender and think it’s comfortable 😝.

Morning all! I just bought a ‘20 Evora GT and it’s a great drivers car so far! Just want to get some thoughts from y’all on a few things… - Are there any issues I should keep an eye out for? Currently has 9900 miles on the clock - Should I keep the stock head unit (INE-W987HD) or switch it out? The one in here works…shall we say intermittently. But I’m happy when it does! - Any other thoughts on ownership or things I should keep in mind? Thanks!!

Around 18 months ago there was a lot of chat about whether the price of newish Evoras would tank with the release of the new kid Emira. I had just taken delivery of my dream new Evora but did worry a bit that it would be a long time before I would be comfortable with the financial implications. Fast forward 18 months and I'm feeling more comfortable that Evora depreciation might yet match its Elise/exige brothers glacial rates. Curious to know what everyone's thoughts are on how the ratio of Evoras to Emiras for sale will influence perceptions about relative value and at what point the Evora becomes rarer?
