Thought I'd beat @PAUL GURNEY to this announcement: It was a fun day last year what with Hammond and entourage in attendance and a good dollop of Lotus present. Excellent organisation by @PAUL GURNEY and co. Looking forward to seeing the usual suspects there!

It's been a while, so I'd like to propose a meet at the The Walwyn Arms at Much Marcle on Saturday 3rd June at 1230. A chat in the car park then on into the pub for lunch? For the cider lovers amongst you a visit just up the road to Westons Cider after lunch might be fun. Any of you of up for this? Anyone want to recommend a different date?

@PAUL GURNEY, is this still on? Think I'll toddle down with the Esprit. @Barrykearley, @Suddabym, @dr_jayhart et al, fancy it?

Anyone fancy meeting up for a chat before Xmas? Maybe at Fromes Hill again? I've done a paltry 1020 miles this year, most of those driving to the garage to buy petrol to replenish that used to drive to the garage How about the 12th (Sun), 18th (Sat) or 19th (Sun) of December? Or does someone want to recommend another venue? Maybe we could grab a bite to eat in a pub? Any or either way, if at least one person would attend, then so would I. In fact I'd be happy to attend by myself !!

Hi All I am helping organise a small car show on Saturday 4th September in Newent town centre, this will be part of other events that will be happening on the day in and around the town. The event is open to all and with no specific criteria, so anything and everything is welcome. We have old cars, classic cars, race and rally cars , as well as motorcycles. If any one of you or any one you know would like to come along, its from 10.30 till 3.30 and cars are welcome to stay all day or just pop in for an hour or 2. We have our own designated car park for our exclusive use and we will be marshalling that area during the day. So if you fancy free tea and b…

As last months Stow breakfast meet was quite a success, and seems to be a good central location to plan more, Im putting out the date for the next one as April 2nd..another sunday morning...It would have been the weekend before but thats Mothering Sunday so Im sure there will be those who are busy on that day. If this date proves unsuitable it can be amended to suit the majority but personally I wont be able make any other date until some time in May after this one.. The venue will be the same again, breakfast at Speedwell's Cafe, Chruch St (GL54 1BB postcode), which opens at 9am (car parking in the main market square GL54 1AB postcode). Sam the owner has phoned me t…

We here in the Midlands group are organizing a little breakfast meet at Stow-on-the-Wold with the last sunday of this month in mind. Its a nice drive out from all directions, parking is a-plenty in the market square (although it can get busy there from about 10am onward if the weather is good) and there is an abundance of good coffee places and breakfast choices. Having visited a few times for breakfast, I would suggest visiting The Coffee House, Church Street which is a couple of minutes walk from parking. Breakfasts are fresh to order and have been consistently excellent each visit. Postcode for parking is GL54 1AB, and The Coffee House is GL54 1BB. I would sugg…
