Just seen this on ebay Coventry Climax 1020cc FWP engine modified for road use with mazda 5 speed g/box I think the Coventry Climax FW engine was fitted to the type 14 - anyone doing a resto and need an engine? Don't know how much he wants for it as there's a reserve set. Based in Bournemouth. Worth a look at the picture - that engine looks great!

Hi All I am about to commence a refurbishment of a pair of SU H4 carbs and manifolds for a client. They came in a box with a few spares 🙂 I want to understand how they are fitted so that I can work out which of the linkages are required and which are surplus. Have anyone got picture of them fitted to the car I can use as reference. Regards Tony

I genuinely think the Elite is the worlds most gorgeous car. If you have a car for sale please pop it in the free classifieds - Cheers buddsy it doesn’t get much better than that with Borrani wheels ZF & Webber’s.

Many years ago I was restoring an Elite, and it looks as if I still have a pair of SU carbs that I am now restoring. What I would like to find is ideally the detailed parts from the official parts book, and also some pictures showing the jet lifting / choke levers. Can anyone help please? Colin

Hello, I own an Elite mk2 equipped with 2 SU carbs. I am interested to upgrade to Weber DCOE, but I miss information about the settings. Does anyone where I can find this ? Thanks Thierry

Hi All, I have a 1962 S2, is it possible that you can let me have what you think works best for suspension and steering settings please, at the moment the car frightens me because I can not drive it in a straight line, it wanders and very little input into the steering makes it weave, then I correct and it goes to far etc, Everything is rebuilt, no loose wheels etc, I think it is just setup ?? or diff mounting too flexible. Hard tyre pressures did improve it. Any help would be appreciated,
