So the clocks go forward tomorrow and it's time to get the Lotus out for some 2023 runs! As a starter, I'm going to put forward the suggestions below for a few meet ups during 2023. It's just a starter suggestion list and happy for other suggestions to be added, or to remove any of my suggestions which are not popular. To make sure as many as possible know about it, I'm tagging all current NI Group members. Please also spread the word to any other Lotus owners, Lotus interested, or even just those who still enjoy the increasingly guilty pleasure of burning fossil fuels in pursuit of speed and noise... Firstly many thanks to @Bibs for setting up this group and for making TLF such a great forum and knowledgebase for all Lotus enthusiasts and Lotus-curious! Hopefully this group can act as a focal point for all interested in Lotus on this side of the Irish Sea. I'm an Exige 420FE owner and my Lotus history is mentioned in my Introductions post at Hello from Belfast I have already been in touch with @blindside and @5pence who are keen to meet. I hope that there are plenty more Lotus fans in NI and would be grateful if all interested would join this "Club" page as Members so that we can organise the occasional meet or event. Please join and share the links w…

Had a great day over at Anglesey. It’s only a shot hop on the ferry and it’s an excellent circuit. Very well organised by Lotus-on-track and a very friendly lot.

I'm new to the NI Forum so hello to all involved - I have a 1988 Esprit in Kildare with 18500 miles on it and although I do most of the maintenance myself I am reluctant to change the timing belt - does anyone have a recommendation as to who in NI does Lotus servicing and would have already done Esprit belts. I cant find anyone in ROI and I did contact Charles Hurst in Belfast as they are going to be Lotus distributors but still haven't had a reply to my inquiry. I see there is often quite a discussion about Timing Belt life and Lotus/Ferrari ect suggest very regular changes but as E.Fox (Engineers) Ltd in Dublin we are Gates Industrial Belt distributors and stockists - …

So it's officially spring now, the temperature is forecast to get into double digits later this week and I enjoyed a few miles with the roof off last weekend - so we should start planning a first get together! No point in having a group and never actually meeting up! Maybe meet somewhere for a coffee? I'm not sure where everyone is based so not sure where a mutually suitable location is - but I'm sure none of us will mind a bit of a drive to get to the meeting location... I'm based in Lisburn. @5pence, @blindside and @Tris... - where are you guys based? I'm going to try and find some time to search for other NI/Ireland-based members on the forum and inv…
