Silver/Titanium, red leather steering wheel. This morning, we passed you when you had pulled up on the back road between Slingsby and Castle Howard then you caught us up and followed us on the A64. Great day for a top down drive.

Having an issue with my Elise k series s2 cooling fan. It won’t turn off unless I cut the power to the battery or take the fuse out. I have change the relay but doesn’t make a difference even with the relay removed altogether, just wondering what makes this kick in or where else to look?

Hello Maybe a long shot but does anybody have one available that I could purchase and/or replace at a later date? I have found one, but all the usual suppliers seem to be out of stock and could be a six week wait to get more in. Its for an S4 hub carrier but I guess (please correct me if I'm wrong) should fit any Stevens Esprit from 88 onwards? Part number B082D4079F. Number 66 on the diagram. Any other suggestions for sourcing the part also welcome. Kind regards Andrew.

I have booked my Esprit into this show (individual- in the 90's period cars). Presumably Club Lotus will have a stand there as they normally do. Anyone else planning to attend?

Full set of near immaculate Japanese Racing wheels for the Exige finished in Matt gun metal. I’ve taken off my 410 but presume will also fit V6/350/380 The wheels are absolutely clean with the exception of one small nick in one of the rear wheels – approx. 3-4cm long and only really noticeable when looking for it. All the other wheels have zero marks on them. Link to the wheels are here: https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/jr-wheels-sl01-20×12-et0-40-5h-custom-pcd-matt-gun-metal.html (think this is the right link!) Centre caps included as are the tyres which are a bonus at this price. Bridgestone Potenza Sport 215/45/R17 DOT 17/21 and 18/21 Very good tread Rea…

Looking at this photo, the tyres seem somehow fatter. Specially the rear tyres. I quite like the looks. Do they look stock size for you? Maybe it's just my impression.

Time for another Sunday breakfast gathering for some of the finest bacon rolls around. This is our regular third Sunday of the month event, a chance to gather with like-minded enthusiasts and a cross section of Lotus models. Everyone welcome and we look forward to attendees from The Lotus Forums, SELOC, Lotus Drivers Club and Club Lotus. An informal gathering with no particular runs in or out organised, just a chance to chat, look at cars and take in the view. Join from 9.00 when the café opens for bacon rolls. We'll probably be around until 10.00/10.30. Location map for Newlands Corner here

Hello chaps haven't driven my 430 in a while and the battery is dead. I have a CTEK battery tender that I normally use for my Ferrari Challenge Stradale. Can I also use it for the Lotus ? I remember reading that Lotus is using some f**up light batteries that cannot use the normal CTEK chargers. Is that right ? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, Looking for advice. I've just been sent a reminder to pay £280 road tax on the Esprit which was manufactured on 19th October 1979 so well over the 40 year threshold. I can't get through to DVLA on the phone or via web chat. I want to keep the car taxed (runs out mid June) so I can use it. Any ideas on the quickest way to get this resolved? The V5C says the vehicle is PLG as opposed to historic but I assumed it would change automatically on the DVLA database. Obviously not... Cheers, Pete

Got my car today, trying to think of a good or funny name... Mrs noticed the plaque " built by Carl Knights" so, the car is called Carl now First planned mod is to change the steering wheel - All alcantara hopefully by D class as per @GFWilliams's recommendations *( I saved your interior as inspiration for what I want to achieve ) This won't happen for a while, maybe a birthday surprise from the Mrs and family, or I'll do it near Xmas. Going to pop up there after the B&C open day as its quite close and have a chat. This is going to be a slow burner thread I'm afraid, funds are limited now the beast is here but by god my face hurts from lau…

A weeklong trip that includes 4 of the best track day circuits in France – Dijon, Le Luc, Ledenon & Mas Du Clos. We start at the fantastic Dijon Prenois, a circuit we have visited more than any other ‘race’ track in France. We’ll then head south to the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and the very enjoyable Circuit du Var. In a change to previous years, we’ll be staying locally in the Côte d’Azur to make the most of one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe. We then head back up to the roman town of Orange for a return to the wonderful Ledenon circuit which is situated just a few minutes’ drive from the World famous Pont du Gard. It’s then back north to…

Over the last couple of weeks there's been an upsurge in spam posts - the IP addresses are from Russia and Iraq would you believe! While they're been dealt with in a timely fashion if myself or a moderator are online, if you click 'report' and select 'spam report' the content will be hidden for review after 3 reports. I'd appreciate it if you'd be kind enough to do that if some spam does make it through and ends up on TLF. We use a paid anti-spam solution from IPS, a Q&A challenge on registration and level 4 CAPTCHA from Google but it still appears! Fingers crossed either they get bored or we get a better solution soon! Thanks!
