Test patch for engine aluminium paint

Have been looking around for a good engine paint to use on my block. I was hoping to go for POR-15 but the paint would cost a fortune once postage to Malta is included.

While looking around a local paint supplier suggested using the Car Plan high temperature aluminium paint

I had an old damaged water pump lying around .. so I thought I do a quick test patch .. Here's the result :

What do you guys think?

Still haven't made up my mind before I test how the paint would hold up being used on an engine. But I like the colour.

I did an engine with this stuff years ago but never kept it long enough to find how it lasted. They must have calmed it down a bit though - that looks OK but mine looked too "raw" and shiny.
