  1. What's new in this club
  2. These look like really good meets, all are welcome https://allonwhite.co.uk/saturday-breakfast-club-events BREAKFAST CLUB Held the first Saturday of every month, our Allon White Saturday Breakfast Clubs have become a popular place to catch up on all things motoring. Visitors share a sports car passion and come to chat with like-minded folk who speak car! Each month has a different theme or 'workshop' to boost your knowledge, entertain you or just give you an excuse to take your car out for a drive. Past topics have included tips when buying or selling cars, valeting masterclasses, test drive days and even a session on performance driving. Bacon rolls, tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits are served from 9:30, though as it's a breakfast not a brunch club, arrive too late and the food will be finished! There's no need to book, just turn up and bring anyone who prefers to spend Saturday mornings in a garage than a garden centre! The themes for our next meetings are: SATURDAY 3RD NOVEMBER - INTERIOR TRIM Shaun, our expert coach trimmer, will be talking about car interiors. How to restore them, look after them, and maybe revealing a secret or two about his rather specialised trade. He'll also be running a Q&A session on interiors and hoods, so whether you have a Morgan, a Lotus, or any other make of car and would like some advice, he should be able to help! SATURDAY 1ST DECEMBER - SCALEXTRIC CHALLENGE Time to put your driving 'skills' to the test in our annual Scalextric Challenge. Mayhem normally ensues with cars flying off in all directions rather than spending any meaningful time on the track. Will standards be any better this year? Could an adult actually win the event, or will the racing crown once again go to one of our younger attendees...? Breakfast Club Venue: Allon White Sports Cars 119 High Street Cranfield Beds MK43 0BS
  3. Lovely morning at Newlands Corner. Lotus of Elises.
  4. It's the Rob Walker Centenary Festival in Dorking on Sunday. The centre of Dorking will be closed for a parade of racing cars (including a Lotus 18). The parade starts at 10am but road closures start earlier. If you normally head to Newlands Corner via Dorking then you'll need to follow a different route, for example over Ranmore or via Bookham and past B&C. More info here: https://www.dorkingtownpartnership.co.uk/news-and-events.html https://www.dorkingtownpartnership.co.uk/downloads/Festival-Information.pdf https://www.dorkingmuseum.org.uk/rob-walker-racing-team/
