  1. What's new in this club
  2. Our usual third Sunday breakfast meeting isn't taking place this Sunday due to COVID19 restrictions. We could in theory do a group of 6 but I can't control who else turns up and as the organiser it'll be me who risks getting a big fine. If people want to go individually that's up to them, but there is no official organised event. Stay safe!
  3. Great to see everyone this morning. The forecast turned out to be right and we had mainly dry roads on the way over plus some sunshine during the meet. Nice to catch up with regulars (some with new cars) and old friends. Also great to welcome some first timers. It's always interesting to see the cross-section of cars and today was no exception. How often do you see an S1 Esprit up close, let alone a white one with what looked like an original interior? We also had some non-Lotus interlopers. As well as the M-cars, Mustang and Aston that had come as part of a different group, spe

  7. As usual mate, I think a lot of people still just want to turn up on the day, and the weather is looking a bit iffy too over the weekend.
  8. After last month's successful re-start, we're back with our regular monthly meeting, running with new arrangements to keep everyone safe and to comply with COVID guidelines. Numbers are limited to 30 people and I've split this 15 for SELOC and 15 for The Lotus Forums. To maximise the opportunity for cars, attendance is limited to one person per car. If take up is low I will open up spaces for passengers - this will be decided at 9am on Saturday. As an "organised event" I need to ask everyone to register in advance and provide contact details - please U2U me your mobile number after
  9. Great to see everyone after our lockdown break. Shame about the weather but good to catch up with folks, see the cars and grab a bacon roll.

  12. Hi, the available places on SELOC have all been taken but there are spare places here. I'm therefore doing some juggle of the spares, so total spaces on here are now 14. 16. It's time to see if we can re-start our monthly meeting. Things need to be a bit different to keep everyone safe and to comply with COVID guidelines. I need to limit the numbers to 30 people and have split this 15 for SELOC and 15 for The Lotus Forums. To maximise the opportunity for cars, attendance is limited to one person per car. If take up is low I will open up spaces for passengers. As an "organised event" I need to ask everyone to register in advance and provide contact details - please PM me your mobile number after registering. If someone attending is later diagnosed wit
  17. You can still go but be warned it's pretty horrible. Very crowded at the weekends, queues to get in to the car park, cars parked on verges and blocking other people in, litter left around and bins overflowing. https://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/surrey-news/cans-lager-wine-barbecue-left-18287268
