  2. Summer Special Car Run to Royal Norwich ~~~ Wednesday 17th August 2022 Afternoon, Our car run on 17th August will end at Royal Norwich where we have been invited to enjoy an evening with them displaying our cars and sampling the food on offer. The course has been closed to allow our vehicles to be displayed around The Stables building, giving a great opportunity for photos in a setting rarely open to vehicles. Royal Norwich have an extensive menu and to ensure you are able to be seated for dinner please follow the below link to book your table direct with Royal Norwich. A menu link is also provided below. While our focus is our fantastic cars and enjoying the run, Royal Norwich have kindly put on a couple of fun Golf experiences while we are with them. There will be a Driving Range Challenge and also a Putting Challenge that will take place as part of the evenings entertainment at no cost. To allow for numbers to be managed an expression of interest in being involved in the Golf Fun would be much appreciated in advance if possible, but you are more than welcome to turn up and have a go! Royal Norwich have also extended to all of our customers and partners the opportunity to experience the Royal Norwich Golf Course and we are delighted to announce that you are also able to take advantage of a 10% reduction in green fee price for any tee time booked for play until August 2023. 6. Not sure of any of you will have seen this It's a great event, plenty of parking, all welcome - would be great to have some "northern" east of Englanders Add your name to the thread above if you are coming.
  7. Looks a meagre turnout at this point for attendees. Just me and Dave T. Come on, weather forecast is good and evenings won’t get any lighter πŸ˜‰
  8. sadly today the two classic car groups have notified us that they cannot be issued with a certificate from motorsport uk due to continuing covid restrictions therefore wish to postpone the date till later in the year (when normality may return ?πŸ™„) This means we would be providing catering and bought in hired toilets for half an event which, given it was a charitable event, doesnt make sense, I was so looking forward to seeing a steady stream of lotus cars to the windmill πŸ˜‘ but i am going have to postpone the 11th of july meet and re schedule when we hear back from the two other groups involved πŸ˜’ given we were clashing with goodwood this may enable a few more peeps to come rather gutted tho windy
  9. mine might be back from es by then !! only thing is the book a table, cant drink in the car park really wasnt conducive to a "meet up" πŸ™„
  10. Bad timing Windymiller I would love to attend but it's Festival of Speed weekend 😒
  11. I could be there this time and I want to see the new purchase as it was in bits when I saw it at Geralds
  12. After a respectable turn out last month in the decidedly iffy May weather, shall we attempt another meeting at BiH next Thursday, 24th?
  13. just thinking wudnt it be nice for one of them flying filming thingy things to fly round the windmill and film all those lovely tlf members cars from above ? 😁

  21. i know its a way off but we have two car clubs due in the morning and to prevent bottle necks we are suggesting any of you lovely peeps come 12.30 onwards but will re nudge nearer the time
  22. All who have commented, whilst I havent done much re organizing, even though there is still time I just can not make Sunday. Just too much on with work and one or two personal things that are taking a significant amount of spare time. On top of that Sunday weather doesnt look great. I will select another weekend in a few weeks. Hopefully better weather and Im not run off my feet. Sorry to any that had it in their mind for Sunday.
  23. Hey gents, new to Lotus ownership after bringing my pride and joy back to its rightful homeland of Norfolk from Portsmouth last week. Looking forward to meeting you locals, see you there!
