  1. Having driven both the Cayman and the Evora I can honestly not understand how anyone could say the Porker was better or even preferred. Don't get me wrong, out of all the Porkers I drove (I did a Porsche day at Silverstone) the Cayman was the closest I could get to anywhere near the charisma/ride/handling of the Evora. However, for me, the price tag, cost of repairs/parts/servicing and the looks/charisma just meant I couldn't have one over an Evora. I am, however biased. As is the writer, quite obviously, on PH.

  2. Well, I am certainly slightly biaised here but honestly I do not understand the approach of PH (and generally the UK motor press) on this one. I have been following PH for a couple of years and did a lot of research, basically on German and British motor video / press before buying my car... ...and in my view, the most reluctant to the Evora is by far the UK press. So far I saw PH as a trustworthy site even if increasingly directed towards a certain kind of products..., but must admit that I am disappointed. I have followed with interest their reports but I am surprised by the lack o

  3. Hi guys, A lot of people were slightly confused, asking how they can get photos with Concorde. As promised, I'm putting a forum topic where you can ask questions or find out, how to get some awesome pictures. Just a heads up... I've got few memory cards, from 2 cameras and it might take me a while to get through everything, cleanup and get you what you need, so please, be patient! I will do my best to make things as smooth as possible. I can't post-process all photos and put them online. But I will definitely start with few best, in my opinion, and you can expect more showing up in

  11. Not sure what you mean with that Colin, but thanks! :-) And do not take me wrong either. I don't intend to be harsh on PH but I think we (them as journalists and the whole car-nut community as a result) are losing focus here. I am new to Lotus ownership and so cannot really judge, but having read and learnt from long-lasting Lotus owners like yourselves, it looks like the Evora is one of the most, if not the most, accomplished all-rounder Lotus has ever built and what they get back as feedback is that the keys look oldish... I know I am overacting on this one and everyone praises ride,

  12. Thank you for all your answers ! I have good news, I just got the OK from the owner he agreed to my offer ! If everything goes right I will have it registered and ready for this Saturday. As its basically ready to run I can take it for a drive right away that is pretty sweet @ramjet I got some time to read deeper into various topics like the fuel smell issue and other stuff. The clutch might just need a good bleeding. @Bibs Ah yes, I thought already this was some kind of butterfly valve aimed for emissions, but I was not sure as I only had a quick glance at it and that was the

  13. Well...if the guy from PH Claims that his wallet would fit in the gap between door and dash he might ask PH for more Money for his work to fill his thin wallet......:-)

I still never found my int door lock but i found an old elan plus 2 one i have had for years so i removed the extra bits and drilled for the esprit works fine.
