  1. I wouldn't call the ends of the earth Esprit in having less than 75K on the clock. In fact these cars are approx 20 years old, so at 10k a year normal car mileage, these cars should have 200k on the clock! These are still averaging 3.5k a year which is extremely low. Personally I think the S4 is underrated and the S4s is overated. I can say this because I have owned both. Not much difference between the two apart from minor cosmetics and a power tweek.

  2. Last week, 1265 miles of relaxed motorway cruising up to Scotland. Gentle touring about, plus some spirited 'lets see what this car is all about' driving and a bit less relaxed, press on, return back to flooded Berkshire. 1265 miles, 168 Litres of normal unleaded = 34MPG. I would be surprised if any other car can deliver that many MPG and so many SPG ! (Smiles per Gallon)

  3. I think that looks smashing great! What's your problem though? Seems all your wheel bolts are present from your photo bucket account.

  4. Yup, did my time as a trolley dolly (male), managed a very convincing mince. Hate to break it to you mate, but that's not an S4s. You've been mugged.

  8. If you are thinking of using it for panoramas then there is a cross platform program called Hugin which seems to be pretty reasonable from what I have heard and is open source. Linky: http://hugin.sourceforge.net/

  9. Watford Exotics getting back in to full swing for their coffee/tea mornings. Nice to meet Stuart and Jim again and some entertaining banter although the 4stars line is wearing a little thin. Thankfully Jim has bought a few new angles to this worn out joke and with the two V8's in attendance we had the three (now common) GT3's licked on numbers of cylinders and capacity. Trevor.

  10. You know what Ronin, I'd be happy to be your passenger anytime. Like the way you keep to your side of the road, don't overdo it and your corner preparation and push-pull control on the wheel is something I reckon most road drivers could learn a lot from. I do get nervous with some who have never learnt to drive properly at a brisk pace. The only way I get them to check their egos and slow down is telling them I'm going to chuck up. You've got some interesting backroads to play on. Also there's no way our nanny state would allow a car like yours on public roads. Keep on doing it...i

  12. Kay isn't around to answer these comments as he's on a week long vacation from the forum. Subsequently, in the meantime I'm going to temporarily close this thread and re-open once his short term ban is spent so he can reply should he see fit. However, I will take this opportunity to remind all members that a certain behavioural standard is expected and required in all and any post you submit.

  13. Where are you figures from? For homologation reasons the 350 is quoted as the heaviest Esprit ever produced. There's been a similar topic to this where I put a 350 on a weigh bridge.
