So you have done your part....now it is time for 007 to look for a replacemant for the DB5 (which was destroyed...)! - easy solution: British handmade car with a mid-engine and room for three Bond-Girls :-)
i have been pm'ing stuart m about his lotus 18 fj as i raced one for 10 years. and he asked about my lotus 30 so i thought some of you may like this pic of me at anglesey in the 30.
Track rod ends have now beedn retapped and fitted (m14 thread for power steering rack if anyone is interested - front all now done. Drained the oil out of the diff and this looks clean so i'm hoping for a relatively cheap rebuild. This will be dropped of at the engineers new week. Rear brakes stripped down - nothing much left of the shoes - with brake rebuild parts on order. All good!
The reason people aren't talking about the S4 is because they're too busy driving them. Seriously, they are HARD to come by... don't seem to be up for sale that often.
A friend of mine has stated that the S4 is the Golf GTI of the Esprit range - you can just thrash it and whip it and it'll take the punishment. Seriously sturdy piece of kit.

let me add one Thing: perfect Family car - when you have to work late you will be faster at home because the Évora will cut the time normally needed on the motorway slightly significant........(for our German Lotus addicts: yes the main Point of this has been "stolen" from a Porsche ad from the nineties:
Yes it is registered in my name now. Definitely the only Lotus Elise in Maryborough, don't know about Ballarat or Bendigo. If I were to hazard a guess perhaps there are only 15 Lotus' for the whole of Vic? Maybe 20 or I could be totally off, maybe 5 who knows. Once the weather warms up we will have to get together for a drive.
