You can get foam online with all sorts of hardness ratings (I have recently built x2 art deco sofa's!) and it can be easily shaped with an electric carving knife.
Hi Adrian,
As we've discussed before I've got most of the interior of a 1978 Elite in the pale beige/caramel leather in good nick - everything except dash and front seats. If you are interested it's in London and it'll be rather less than the figures named. I'll be able to send you some photos on a couple of weeks, I'm currently working away from home.
Cheers, Dan
Elise and Exige have a rear steel subframe. That is how they bolted the Evora rear subframe to the Exige to make the V6. Also how Hennessey bolts on a new rear subframe to add a twin turbo V8.
At the Lotus Driving Academy I spent all day pushing the Evora S harder and harder until I got to the point where I couldn't make it go much quicker. Inches off the back of the other car, he pulls out of the tow and out-brakes it into the chicane from 140mph. There's me thinking the brakes were shot! Then it's sideways showboating all the way round the Rindt ha
A couple of shots of our new toy. Turned out that a white car in sunshine need some more adjustments on the camera. So bare with me that these are so so.
