  1. I think this qualifies.... Give it 4 days and I will post up a film and tell you what it is like. 2.5 litre 912 lump built for torque

  2. No not more difficult to drive but as you would expect S2 feels lighter, more agile, similar acceleration to 100mph, capable of very quick laptimes in capable hands. V6 feels heavier but has more torque, power and keeps pulling hard after 100mph. Also makes better noises. The smaller and tighter the track the closer the laptimes will be. In summary the Cup 260 feels like a little race car, the V6 like a shrunken down supercar. V6 S is a better road car Cup 260 a better track car on tighter tracks. Both are exceptional drivers cars you won't be disappointed either way.

  3. No, your car has the standard 3 pot éclat girling brakes. The problem is that you have bought pads for an éclat 520 with 2 pot calipers from a ford. These were also used on elan. The ones you need should say that it fits various Jaguars and volvos and lotus elites and eclats.

  5. Leave the A/C on all the time. It's a false economy to switch it off and is a very effective way of keeping the windows clear during damp weather.

  6. I did have a look but i was keen to get it done ASAP so that i could use the car now that its dark. I have bought a few "direct replacement" parts before from e-bay and found that they didnt fit so in this case i just cut to the chase. "Let there be light"

  8. Thank you very much for the kind comments everyone! Tony is a great guy and I enjoyed working with him. He is the most knowledgeable person I know about the Esprit and I am so happy I got the chance to work with him in this video! Chris

  9. But what if your Granddad was on the other train and your Aunt was on the platform? Would you be moving relative to your relatives? Or would your relatives be relatively moving in relation to their relative's movement? It's a relative conundrum.

  10. The Riviera lip finishes off the tail a treat. Last time I called Lotusbits had one or two 2nd hand if you wanted an easy life.

  11. There is a lot of trunk flex that would not transfer the downforce properly. One might have to overcompensate for this by increasing the wing size. For the purist, who doesn't want to ruin the lines of an increasingly rare classic, I offer this submission.

  12. It's a citroen part. Verry cheap. The dealer was wondered how it failed. I told him it broke of doing 260 km/h. He asked: what type of citroen do you own? LOL.

  13. As FFM costs about £10 less than the cost of a single delivered ARB bush I think its too cheap when you consider the benefits gained. Forget the discounts, just the tips and how to's ( or NOT to's) save its cost many times over every year. When I consider my interaction with Club Lotus and TLF for the same cost the forum is under priced. As to the videos of someone hacking round a track in a car I don't want , well I pay my licence fee to get that via top gear.
