  1. I was about to have the winter tyres fitted on my rims but decided to ditch the Evora N/A instead.... ...picking up an Evora S SR on 24th Dec, Merry Christmas!! Only trouble now is I have a set of 18/19 inch winter tyres and no rims to put them on....

  2. MJK: Veg Soup, Turkey and Xmas Pud please buddy....he's back in our hometown of Coventry and just texted me. He's looking forward to seeing everyone and staying sober so he can laugh at everyone's antics!

  3. Leave them alone. I live nearby and they used to always have some interesting classic cars for sale (I remember a Jaguar XK120), although I see less classics nowadays. I believe their unusual name comes from the adjacent road name (Titty Ho Way or something). I'm sure it's also a god-send for attracting worldwide internet traffic to their website....

  4. EDIT: Found two photos. Sorry, I don't think I have any pics of the clips. Foam dam: A vertical bead of urethane was applied in the space along the foam dam. Tape holding it until urethane cures: The criss-crosses of tape on the one side are applying pressure on a small block against the trim. The car was missing the clip in that spot from the factory, and we needed something to hold the trim down until the urethane cured around it. Also, remember the corner pieces that join the trim -- essential for good fit! Cheers, Tony K.

  6. Well I got my dash bulbs installed last night. Am pretty pleased with them. Slightly strange was the IGNITION light which is a larger size (same as the gauges) compared to the other indicator lights. I also found my tach light in the wiring behind the dash which I was quite pleased with. Couple of the smaller gauges aren't much brighter, but I like the clean white look. While I was looking at lights I also got into my pin light that's supposed to light up the centre console. The light works but is not really illuminating. Got to the bulb but not seen that type before: screw-in (yes, I know that's not too special) but the top of the bulb is flat, probably to direct the light in one direction only.

  7. Best description I heard for an Evora/a Lotus generally, is that it is a Connoisseur's car. Tris...

  9. Third time round for me. I really should hang onto it this time. According to Lotus, it is the very last domestic market Giugiaro Turbo built in Monaco white. It has now covered a whopping 34,000 miles. It's damn good to have it back.

  10. ...stay away from the SE's....they are addictive. You wouldn't wanna give up your V8 for one...but there's a risk you might buy an SE in addition to it for its raw power and addictive turbo lag.
