  1. Today me and my dad went to the lotus factory to see my car on the line and have a look around. Scott walker showed us round and is a top bloke - A real enthusiast who took time to show us various stage of builds, some motorsport cars and a look round classic team lotus. He is really enthusiastic about the brand and the cars and very knowledgable. We saw a toxic green car almost immediately, which confirmed 100% I have ordered te best colour. What a car in the sun! While walking round the factory a little green one kept catching my eye - it actually turned out to me MY car - fully built, ready for transport. This was a shock as I was expecting to see a tub being assembled but my car is competed well ahead of time. I wish I could have drove it away today! The girl at the production line said they pushed it a bit and I also got a build sheet to keep with the car which is cool. They also deleted my airbags which is something I wanted to save weight. Really great of them to arrange this for me. Really pleased withthe car. It looks stunning and to see it built ahead of time if fantastic. We saw a few test mules and development elise cup R models as we as complete cars as well as the evora GTS that are being reworked ready for sale. After the factory and motorsport tours scott phoned over to classic team lotus and managed to get us a look around at very short notice. We met Clive chapman, Jim clarks old mechanic and saw some amazing machines from the 60s 70s and 80s being worked on. Ronnie petersons JPS car was the highlight. What a machine. That was amazing as it was it was very short notice so to be allowed in was great. I must say a big thanks to lotus for this opportunitely. I don't know of any manufacturer that would allow us to get so close to so much iconic machinery and to see my very own car being built was very special. I'm actually looking forward to buying my next otus so i can go back again and made the 750 mile round trip well worth it!

  3. Hi Eclatters! I've produced a similar design for the Eclat 40th this year to the Elite 40th last year: Bibs at TLF has kindly agreed to fund production of a limited number of window stickers with the TLF logo at the bottom. So to start the ball rolling could you let me know if you want one? ATB Richard

  5. I made one from aluminium sheet I bought from B & Q, using the old one as a template. Cut it out with a jigsaw then bent over a broom handle, holding them in the vice.

  23. Dreadful. Even if these terrorists had been captured and not killed they would still have unfortunately still been afforded their right to pray and their prayer mat to kneel upon. Human rights should be withdrawn in certain circumstances. Until the Worlds differant religions realise that their own religion's imaginary friend is no better than any others imaginary friend (and that's never going to happen) this useless waist of life will continue to be taken in the name of one persons plight to peach their beliefs upon others. More people have died in the name of religion over the centuries than any other reason, illness or method. Sad sad times.

  24. Fantastic, keep them coming if you have more. I'm always frustrated by how many unseen images of the Bond Esprits must be lurking in archives (not least EONs collection) waiting to see light of day. How about this one of Naomi on the wetbike;
