  1. No longer need custom made amp box that fits perfectly in trunk of late model Esprit. Please take a look at my Ebay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140410533287&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
  2. thanks for the pics but I think I will just stick with the black flooring I put in for now
  3. Welcome, beautiful color and especially like the interior. Mine is red but orange was my next choice.
  4. Got mine today, thanks for the lead. Only thing that bummed me out was that its only option was apparently the glass roof which I am guessing the original owner probably ebayed separate from the car so I didn't get it.
  5. Purchased 2002 Esprit with trunk loaded with two big amps and special cabinet that I just pulled out and noticed the flooring is not there. Any idea where I can purchase the flooring for the trunk. I am guessing that the trunk flooring from any of V8's would fit?
  6. Bob, You don't have to worry about me not driving it. I waited too long for it and am enjoying it immensely. I have driven it pretty much everyday that it has been good weather. Taking it for a spin to the winding roads of the Texas hill country outside of Austin next weekend. Should be awesome. By the way, I saw a midnight blue like yours at Star Motors a few years ago but don't remember if it was an 03 or 04. It is a beautiful color and was one of my top choices. Tracey
  7. Thanks Derik, it is the shop right now and it looks like I made the same choice that was mentioned a couple of times in that post. I pulled out the 10" sub with the big cabinet and put in a high end 6.5" that is less than 6" deep rather than the current 12". Also some gadget that goes with the stereo unit was behind the passenger seat which will now free up an additional 2-3". Also pulled the two big amps and custom case in the trunk for an Alpine amp that is only the size of a college textbook. Lastly I had pulled the big screen stereo with the dvd, cd, nav system and had installed an Alpine
  8. Derik, Thanks for the nice comments on my car. Yours is beautiful. Do you have the black or magnolia interior? Red was my first choice in color followed by yellow, midnight blue, orange and then azure blue. I am enjoying working on my downshifts (matching revs) and driving faster (safely). Tracey
  9. Derik, Yes it is the one that was on Ebay from Plano. I loved it and it was immaculate but I didn't like the stereo with the big amps in the back and huge subwoofer in the passenger floorboard so I am having a new smaller system put it at the moment which will make it more enjoyable for weekend trips with my fiance. Will put the stereo stuff on sale soon hoping someone else will want it. I will add my car to the garage. Thanks.
  10. Here are a few pics from a men's prayer breakfast and car show a couple of weeks ago.
  11. I sat in my first Lotus when I was 15 at Star Motors in Houston and have lusted after them ever since. I have been members of several Lotus forums for years and have read anything and everything I could about the Esprit. I actually had only seen 4 of them in my whole life on the road and had been fortunate to test drive a couple the last few years. I have had a 300ZX and a Vette but knew that someday I would get my dream car. Well I finally was in a good position to do it and the exact car that I wanted (2002 red with black interior) actually came available just minutes from my home and I watc
