  1. It was indeed the purple nasty - in Palacio Purple. I was pleased to be fortunate enough to be behind a palacio purple M100
  2. Fantastic event. Well done to Bibs and all those involved with organising it. And some more
  3. I am exceedingly happy with the kit and installation. Huge transformation in braking reliability, feel and stopping distance. The best thing is that it has transformed the car and how it can be driven. Can not recommend this set up enough.
  4. Legendary Bibs - nice job - all ordered - even used the notes section
  5. Can I just check: is it Saturday and Sunday? Also are people staying Friday and Saturday?
  6. Alternatives are: buying a stronger whip; changing riders; threatening the horse with termination; appointing a committee to study the horse; arranging to visit other sites to see how they ride dead horses; reclassifying the dead horse as “living-impaired”; hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse; harnessing several dead horses together for increased speed; donating the dead horse to a recognized charity and deducting its full original cost; doing a time management study to see if lighter riders would improve productivity; declaring a dead horse has lower overhead and therefore performs better; and promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.
  7. I don't think it is undeserved at all from my perspective. It was obsolete when it was installed on the Esprit. You cannot get parts for it - apart from the accumulator. When they actually need repair they are hard/impossible to take apart. It's overcomplicated and unreliable - it bleeds air into the system from all manner of places. There is no support from Delco Moraine and no places to send the units to be properly reconditioned. These systems are between 27 and 22 years old. My system had been checked over several times in a year: bled - both manually and using the Tech II, had a new pressure switch and still tried to kill me by simply failing at speed last year. I'm glad yous works - but many people start down a trail of woe that starts with the odd ABS light flash and end up as I did. I say good luck to anyone who has this system and I hope it lasts for years to come - but in the end, I believe they will all go the same way.
  8. Sounds to me like you are one of the lucky ones who have a fully working DM system. The replacement servo system (which I have installed) is a total transformation. I never thought I'd say that about brakes - but I do sincerely mean it. Unlike the DM system where there is very little travel or feel when you hit the brakes - with the servo system on my S4 gives so much feedback - and it draws up really quickly. I've found myself leaving braking later and not being disappointed. plus you don't need to stab at the pedal, gentle pressure is all it takes. I completely trust the system in my car - rather than before leaving the braking late and sailing past the junction has added a real extra dimension to driving the Esprit.
  9. It's a good trick if you can do it! I honestly think that some won't realise how awful the system is - as you get used to dealing with it - like early braking and the expectation that no two braking experiences are the same. I also agree that there are many Esprits not driven often.
