  1. I agree. It's still an S2 at the end of the day, although a very pretty one. Didn't seem that long ago you could pickup an S2 for £4k to £5k. I had a few sellers begging me to buy them too. A nice gold one in Baskingstoke and a red S2 in North London.
  2. How depressing. I think we should stick with our old, very fast and unlimited cars
  3. Dom's S4. Long time no hear. Still racing it?
  4. I understand that S300's got a reserve not far off the lower estimate. If it was 50ish I might make space in my garage.
  5. The world is suffering from an infestation of homo sapiens. I large cull will do the world, a world of good.
  6. Sent on Side Boob Saturday. Hope it catches on.
  7. I wouldn't want to buy a car not knowing it's history and I'd be well pissed off if I found out the car had been totalled. I'm sure that Sport 300 is a good car now, but I've informed The Market of the cars previous history. The previous seller was honest enough. It will be interesting to see if they disclose the information or hide it to get maximum money. Let's see how honest they are.
  8. Yes it was paid for privately. Looks like the car would have been a Cat B with structural and chassis damage.
  9. I remember the car for sale when it was green. The crash was mentioned in the ad at the time and was sold at a discounted price because of it. No mention of it here though.
  10. That Ghibli is stunning and was way ahead of it's time. Designed by Giugiaro and first displayed at the Turin Motor show in 1966.
  11. Superb photos. Thanks for sharing. So cool to have seen the launch back then.
  12. Yes all the 1987 Turbos had the Vulcan grey valance. It’s super rare that video. I’ve only ever seen the X180 launch covered in Motor magazine.
  13. Found this video of the launch of the X180 Turbo at Earls Court Motorfair from 1987. It still looks great all these years later.
  14. Stonor's a 2 day event next year? Did you hear that from the organisers?
  15. Happy Birthday! 944 sounds cool. They always looked flash back in the day. Any pics?
  16. A shot from Stonor Supercar Sunday. Am loving this car, even though it's got the wrong badge on. I'm not expecting any likes.
  17. I was admiring the stunning looking Jaguar XJR-15 on Friday at FOS, designed by Peter Stevens. Spoke to the mechanic who said the XJR-15 was a handful to drive and had no aero. Well turns out he was right.
  18. Congrats on your purchase. Elites are lovely looking cars. They were the first Lotus I wanted when I was a kid too. Good luck with the resto.
