Even spares prices can differ ! Amongst other vans i have a Renault traffic, pretty much every spare part for it can be sourced cheaper through Vauxhall than either Renault or Nissan !! I remember several years ago a magazine printed a schematic diagram of all car manufacturers and who had interests/connections with each other It was eye opening to say the least!

Welcome and all the best Whereabouts in Poole are you ?
-
Cheapskate! Use zymol and it'll be faster than a veyron

I guess my pleco is about 18 inches long now & about 4 inches wide. He's too efficient at cleaning so I have to buy & feed him algae wafers as a top up ¡

My tank holds 300 litres so doing a partial water change ain't a 5 minute job! Some tropical fish are more hardy than others so the maintenance isn't quite so critical as the more sensitive breeds The worst of the lot, but the most beautiful is saltwater, my parents have some ave they have to tend/maintain on a daily basis!
-
Yep we've got a 4ft bow fronted tank with tropical set up. We had tiger Oscars which grow upto 13" & a huge placoptumus ( forgive the spelling I know it's wrong ) The placo is the only thing alive in there now.sadly I'm actually packing it in as I don't have the spare time to maintain it all properly. So if anyone wants a nice large set up then let me know
-
Down this end of the world the sad reality is the bulk of new build consists of flats. The latest trend ( due to lack of land ) is to demolish nice large houses & replace with flats, or convert them into flats. I hate seeing this happen but I'm in the building trade so obviously need it to earn a living!

OK thanks mate, I might try one & see if I can cope with the size
-
OK, so where do you get sub ohm coils from ?
-
Maybe I'll try a higher nicotine content because I don't get adequate throat hit at the lower voltages!! I'm guessing running sub ohm your in the territory of huge tanks, making your own coils and needing a huge battery to power it? I want my set up to be as compact as possible especially at work

I've tried liquids from local shops and also brands like: hangsen, el toro, liqua, best e-cigs, Mrs b's etc Tankwise, I've used the vision ce4 & ce5's. Aspire bdc, aspire single coil, kanger evod, kanger t3s, smok aro, anyvape Davide plus many more I can't remember!! . I normally run all the tanks at 4-4.2volt with 1.8ohm coils My favourite tanks are the anyvape Davide & the smok aro, both these tanks are bottom coil & take the kangerkanger type coils and I only buy genuine kanger coils II have noticed that the liquid does discolour after 1-2 days use but i don't get a burnt taste during that period. Surely I shouldn't have to be changing the coil that often though?
-
I've been vaping on & off for the past couple of years now, the trouble i'm having is that after several days the liquid seems to lose its flavour & then I'm getting no enjoyment and reverting back to real fags. I've been through dozens and dozens of different makes and flavours of eliquid and still get the same results, I've even tried loads of different clearomizers & tanks!

Does anyone know for certain that zoe isn't into cars? I think she comes across as a bit of a tomboy! And she's got quite a cool husband. I don't mind listening to her on the radio & think there could be many many worse female candidates out there

Found £5.00 down the bulkhead of a van I just bought and I've driven the Esprit for the first time since my hernia operation

Lol bless em! -
Anyone know this car? V8 GT Target Cars, Netherlands
steve930 replied to Vanya's topic in Esprit Chat
With that 350 I'd be thinking along the lines of trying to negotiate the asking price down a bit more. Buy the brand new chassis lotus have listed in their parts sale for £2000.00 and do a chassis swop! You mention the car's had a new engine not so long ago, so that's one big ( unknown) taken care of -
It's an easy car to drive on the limit, my old 1980's 911 turbo, now that needed concentration! As bibs says do a track day, preferably an owners club one so you're not out there mixing it with the fast & furious brigade. It might also pay to have a play in a quiet wet car park if you have one nearby

V8 exhaust combinations - never happy
steve930 replied to swindon_alan's topic in Induction/Turbo/Manifold/Exhaust
I fitted magnaflow 200 cell cats to mine, at idle speed she does run slightly rough/pop & fart, sounds great I've been running them for about 4yrs now. When it comes to mot time I need to hold the engine at revs to generate some heat in them before they'll pass -
OK Kevin, that rules out any clutch hose issues. Your car has the later twin plate clutch with the steel hoses. Take the car back, I'm guessing the problem is either (as Ian suggested) the flywheel hasn't been machined or machined properly, or the other problem could be that the plate between the friction discs could be catching/jamming on the clutch basket
-
Well we still don't know if Kevin's car is single or twin plate clutch

Glad to hear she's coming together I last drove mine when I took her to the Silverstone gp, a couple weeks after I had to have a hernia opp. I'm hoping I'll be able to get back behind the wheel in a week or so
