  1. thanks jonathan!

yeah - blade runner was what i was thinking...

forgive me but i cant resist: the predictable, cheezy but awesome action movie script would probably go something like this:

the woman reaches into the back of the lotus and pulls out a huge SNIPER RIFLE. she walks around to the side of the car where the man is waiting for her. drips of water echo in the tunnel. the downtown skyline shimmers in the background.

look, i know you dont understand, but i have to do this...

just be careful. these people dont mess around.

dont worry. i can look after myself.

    (she loads the rifle loudly)

i know. thats what im worried about.

they kiss. she turns and he watches her walk away. after a long pause he gets in the car and speeds away.

    heh heh!

someone should make another movie soon with an esprit in it

lol....yeah but i want the car .......not bothered about the gun....gimme the car pleaaaase

  2. RAOFLMMFAO ?????  this squence of letters obviously has some meaning to the under 30's but could you possibly explain for a child of the 1950's please

i may have this wrong and i am missing one letter but here it goes...

Roll Around On Floor Laughing My M?? Fu**ing Arse Off

    :P hope this hepls

  3. My Mrs drives the GT3 no bother, and she's on the small side (5'2") - needs a cushion to sit on to see out of the windscreen though!

Most annoying thing ever is coming back to every car to find seat jammed up against steering wheel (so can't actually get in), sun visor down (whatever the weather), radio on full blast and never enough petrol left to get to the garage...... Cheers for that, Dear!

ok with you on the seat right upto the steering wheel..i have got into the habit that if i know someone else is going to drive the car i use i push the seat back..... i'm a good  honest!

  4. Thats my GF's shoesize too!! she's  5'2" :D

They make them in a UK3 but this pair she has in a UK 4 and fit just fine (because of the buckle :D ) (Start with the 5" heel Pumps :) Don't waste your time on smaller heels! lmao )

They have the whole Pleaser Shoe Company range (awesome!) I've bought her about 5 pairs by them! (Need to buy her LOADS more!! )

This lot are in the UK but have a more limited range (plus all the Goth stuff!)

Whereabouts in the UK are you? I'm sure she wouldn't mind letting you try hers on! LOL

lol i think i would cripple myself in those.....i am more a Doc Martyn girl :P

thanks for the offer but i am up north...Manchester way

thanks for the links..will have to check them out and start saving up

  5. I love how this has degenerated into a G vs S car debate again

ahhh i see this is a regular post...V8 are the best :D:D

that of course is my opinion and everyone is entitled to thiers.....but lets not get silly or i'll have to get Dommy on your asses......

i am still waiting for the speedo piccies

  6. Hi Purza,

A mate of mine is in the region of 5'6 I'd say... He had a V8 and did indeed need a cushion to assist in pedal reaching!

How about a nice pair of platform shoes?!

These come highly recommended by my GF who is a complete shoe whore!

lol they look good but i doubt they do them in a UK size 2 !!

  7. Paul - you should write to them again saying that as you had so kindly given them this awesome idea that they have now enacted, they could at least do you the courtesy of selling you the first one!

lol no they should GIVE him the first one so he can check the quality, no point in having this new bar if it doesn't live upto the taste

  8. Ok folks... Question....does the Esprit come supplied with a periscope??? lol

Will i have to bring along a childs booster seat so i can see over the dashboard and reach the peddles?

Are there any other V8 owners of smaller stature (i am five foot) i don't want to get my hopes up of driving a V8 only to be let down because of my

Hopefully i will find out in the next few months...i'll keep you posted

still waiting for that late growing spurt i was told about....

...ok folks  hello to you all...i have posted a couple of things but thought i would say hi in here too

    HELLO...

i have an appreciation of classic cars...but the V8 is my favourite.....mmmm the sounds, the vibration of the engine corsing through my......ah well moving swiftly B)

    take care

  10. No... I think in the spirit of this thread being the poor womenfolk being outnumbered in this forum, fairness necessitates first a picture of me in a Speedo! Just for the ladies.

Any volunteers for holding the camera while I pose?

hmmm ok sounds promising.....but i do hope you will be seductively draped over a V8 engine

  11. Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowdown in the overall performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0, NHL 4.3, MLB 3.0, NBA 3.6, XBOX Live and NASCAR 4.0. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, to no avail.

    What can I do?

    Dear Desperate:

First, keep in mind that Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Try to enter the command: C:/ITHOUGHTYOULOVEDME" to download Tears 6.2, which should automatically install Guilt 3.0. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

Remember, though, that overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will create Snoring Loudly 10.8.

Whatever you do: DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 or reinstall another Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Food 3.0 and Lingerie 7.7.

    Good Luck,

    Tech Support

  12. Jeff,

I'm planning to do the same with my plenum and cam covers. Are you happy with the powder coat result and did you manage to get a crincle finish?

    Cheers Andy

ps hope it all goes back together ok

The finish was very nice and smooth, a lovely job. if you do go down this road keep an eye on the areas where the hooks have been as there may be some paint missing  it was spotted and they kindly let us have some paint for touching up  this will also come in handy if they get scratched while we reassemble it....

    :) purza
