  2. HRE. Series 545 or 545 R. Website will even model these custom wheels on the Esprit V8. My dream wheels for the V8.
  3. Anyone ever installed them? Know where I can get some instructions, tailored to the Esprit? Can I keep the headlight pods up and have the lights off by pulling one (or several) fuses? If so, which one(s)? FYI - I just picked up a McCulloch HID Kit (6000K for type H4 or 9003). Thanks in advance! The Esprit is gotta be the only modern day exotic still sporting those "tired" halogens!
  4. *** IMPORTANT LOCATION UPDATE *** New Location: Cochituate State Park in Framingham, MA (Replacement for Hopkinton State Park and the next town over from Hopkinton (Framingham), so it shouldn't be a big deal) Date: Sunday, April 23rd Time: 11-4pm (But some of us will be there by 10am to get prime parking) Info: Still BBQ, still great people, and still great cars (over 180 have signed up and not including the friends they are bringing along) Directions: Cochituate State Park is located in the greater Boston area in eastern Massachusetts. From East or West: Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. I-90) to exit 13, Rte. 30 east. Park is on the right. From Mass Pike: Take the Mass Turnpike (Rt. I-90) to Exit 13 to Rt. 30 East. The park is
  5. Thanks, fellas. I feel much better about having to "trim" the metal control arms. Good tips, Jonathan! superdavelotus - I'm only 200 miles into the PUK polyurethane bushings, but will be heading into the shop soon for an oil change, and I'll have them take a look, both at condition of material, alignment (centering), etc. Also - the vehicle needed some major alingnment after installation. Is that normal? Upon the first test drive, prior to alignment, the car would steer to the left of the road, and the steering wheel had to be clocked to the right just to make sure the vehicle tracked straight! I knew the new bushings might have changed the toe-camber-caster angles, etc., but steering alignment? Perhaps the car pulled to one side as a combined result of the misaligned toe-camber-caster angle effect. Hmm, we'll see how my tires wear now. -Will
  6. Hi, I received the PUK polyurethane suspension bushings back in July of 2005. I finally got them installed on my 2003 Esprit V8. A few comments: 1. The rear ones fit great 2. The front ones required some machining of the metal sleeves (the I.D. was at .491" and had to be bored out for the .500" bolts to fit through) 3. The front bushings were a little large, and "ballooned" when squeeze fitted into the control arms. The front control arms would not fit into the chassis, and as a result, the bushings had to be trimmed and my control arms had to be modified (the part that pains me) Has Marcus corrected this problem? -Will
