  1. I know I feel ashamed... but only £550 fitted for front, bonnet, roof, spoiler and rear lights panel.......
  2. Very nice and am liking to colour now its on a car rather than a colour swatch. Thats it I'm getting mine done as a Cup look a likee....I know I'm shallow
  3. The Cup does look rather nice, and the Pewter looks good too. I'm just seeing who can vinyl up the rear end of my coupe to match the Cup look
  4. Hi, pewter with orange detailing sounds interesting, look forward to the pics. As for running in....put the kettle and google it. Once you're thoroughly confused by that and all the various comments just go and drive it, don't let the engine labour at all, better to spin it, always remember its not just the engine you're running in ie gearbox brakes etc. so use them. Oh and do it as quickly as you can, because if you think waiting for it took time wait till you've got it and you're waiting for 1000 mile to arrive before you can 'make progress' Stu
  5. Hi, don't worry about the wait...you're not exactly missing the great weather!! Nice spec and colour, with leather I'd always have heated seats but on suedetex you'll be fine, personally wouldn't bother with parking sensors but not a bad thing to have, otherwise just add fuel Stu
  6. Despite the promise of good weather we re off to Excel for the bike show, see you at the next one. Stu
  7. A brief drive while the sun was out......then normal service resumed and it lashed down

  10. Hi Chris, I think I saw on another forum that you've had your V6 covered in paint protection film, if so happy with it and are the edges readily visible? Thanks Stu

  12. Great colour combo Mario, Are you going to use it through the next few months? They've just gritted and salted around here so I'm wondering about getting mine armour fended and driving it or being a wuss and tucking it up in the garage Stu
  13. Really nice turnout. Nice to meet you Matt. Weather gods kind and no delays on M25 so double bonus or me:) Stu
  14. Lovely looking car. I think Lotus got aggressive styling just right with the roadster and your colour combo is v nice. With the roof off do you find you can hear the exhaust more? Stu
  15. If the weather wasn't so variably rubbish it would be a nice way to get the 1000mile service out the way quickly, we used to run our motorbikes in by going for a fisn n chip lunch in Padstow. Anyway Newlands tomorrow, as it's my birthday i'll buy the tea Stu
  16. Hi Chris, thanks will do .... I'm looking at any excuse to go for a drive Stu
  17. Hi Bibs, nice to meet you too. A bit surreal to pick a car up and then be told by a total stranger where I'd been and where I was going You were right about Rob, great work and certainly knows how to make a car look good! See you soon Stu
  18. Hi, just picked up my new Exige and my first Lotus. Only had it 10 minutes and I'd bumped into Bibs (does he stalk new Lotus owners.........) Been considering a Cayman S or another Caterham (used to have an HPC) but though the Cayman would make an ideal car if it was the only car in the household It wasn't as much as an 'event' as the Exige. I have driven a few of the older Exige/Elise and Vxr220 so new roughly what to expect but this engine combo does push the car along at a fair rate of knots. Can't wait to finish the running in period. So picked it up from Phil at Lipscombs (very good service and most helpful) , bumped into Bibs on the way to Rob at Supercar Detailing for a new car clean up (top notch work, really enthusiastic and certainly knows his stuff) and finally home to squeeze into the garage. Excuse any newbie questions I'll try and use search as much as I can and hope to bump into a few owners soon. Stu
