  1. Dunc apparently so...This Sprint has a large removable sunroof...would this be standard equipment on this car? I telephoned at least 10 or so British automobile mechanics on the east coast here and none of them has ever seen an Eclat, so wouldn't know how to began to assist me with the restoration. I've been able to uncover a little of the Sprints history. It was imported to the USA in September 1977, arriving in California. The dealership was Jim Loose Imports. It appears to be the only Sprint imported to Loose Imports. I'm still on the hunt! :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/autohistorian/6906552681/in/photostream/

  3. I'm 48 years old and I've had great automobile luck my entire life. I purchased a 1982 Datsun (Nissan) 280 ZX turbo when I was 19. It still runs like a new car. I have a Porsche, Chrysler Prowler, and a Chevrolet SSR. So today, while browsing ebay, I came across a 1977 Lotus Elcat. The asking price was $4,000. Luckily, the seller lived 75 miles from my home near Atlanta, so I jumped in the 280ZX for a drive to see the car. Hmmmm, so where shall I start...let's just say it was not as advertised. However, my love for cars got the best of me so I purchased it for half what the owner desired. Now I'm left with two questions: 1. Have I bitten off more than I can chew? and 2. Have my great automobile luck finally came to its end? [attachment=25840:eclat.jpg]
